Hey zwag I have a question for you (you can answer in your videos, I almost watch them all). When you have low health minions (5:35), you generally go for the ranged ones. Is there a reason or just habit? Maybe there are less minions hitting the backline and that might increase cs probability, I don't know...

I'd be really interested how malignance would work on anivia. I have seen it do good on Corki. Maybe on Ahri, Annie, Cassiopeia (her ult stuns, so it should give max damage per activation, if they are stoned), Katarina, kennen, Nunu?, Teemo would be fine i think, it might be my favorite new item.
Played a tank build on swain support, riftmaker -> heartsteel -> jakshos -> hollow radiance and i just steamrolled the enemy team, as the support i finished the game level 18 and their entire team wasnt able to reach level 18. Shoutout to my ashe adc tho, the synergy was crazy

What if your replace liandry's with heartsteel instead. Double down the swainy hp scaling into rift ap scaling. And does your ult actually trigger shadow flame empowered maligma's? In case it does you could scale so high, you replace spirit visage with shadowflame at full build that scaled. Just some lategame supercharged swain ligma's for the fun modes. Ligma's to the max, rigth before riot declares it to much fun. And sends in the unfun coders to nerf it.
If anyone wants to try Swain, I have played some games with malignance and don't think it's very good on him. His best items are almost always some combination of Rylai, cosmic, rift, liandry, frozen heart, jaksho, and spirit visage. I haven't tried a max MR shred build with abyssal + malignance + magic pen, maybe that would work.
Right now I am spamming Vlad and swain top with grasp. I just outlive most of the top lane and out poke them as well. The only problems are trundle that doesn't care about you and Yone with the balance shield
And of course, Sion was the only one to build any anti-heal, against Nasus and Swain, the healing tanks. Shoutout to Malphite for getting bramble vest near the end though.

Can someone recommend a good champ for mid? Im not that good even tho i have been playing for years on and off. I tried a couple champs but i dont really main anything. Might try swain now!

I think someone on the enemy team just needed to build executioner's blade or morello's and if they had an ad anti-tank person that shreds health it also would've gone better. They also would've been doing much better if sion and malphite had just split up and away from the rest of the group so he couldn't just keep his ult going while also being able to reach the squishies. And if the team had more dashes/kiting ability he also would've had a less good time.
You need zhonias, it's quite strong right now with 120 AP, his first item is not that good of a choice vs assassins so you might want archangel or rod of ages.

You forgot to add Unending Despair to this build. It procs conqueror, Liandry's, and and Riftmaker, and deals damage based on max HP.

my go to swain build is summon aery cosmic, rylais/lyandris, riftmaker then full tank depending on the comp like abyssal/frozen heart/jak etc
Yeah the new Malg is powerful on Swain. I played a match with it and had a sweet engage by my Rammus. Went on to get a Penta off of it.
That last fight was hillarious and epic!

You need to go MF with axiom arc, malignance, and experimental hexplate and ultimate hunter for the ultimate ult reset/cooldown.

how do you think you will survive against assassin or burst midlaner like akali or fizz? kinda stuck on being countered every time i pick swain mid

All of Swain's abilities are AoE, so Rift effectively only gives 2% omnivamp. You really buy it for the HP > AP scaling
