Ah, takes me back... Black fingers, coin racks and buckets. No credit meters or tickets. Drop the coins, pull the handle, collect coins from the tray. Then flying home with a sore right shoulder from all the handle pulling. And, of course, carrying buckets with $1000 in dollar tokens across the casino to cash 'em in. Fun times!
I thought all the coin games spit out coins on every line hit/bonus.

@@409Slots That's how it was until the introduction of the credit meter where the wins would accumulate. Even then cashing out would dump coins into the tray.
Remember back in the nineties at foxwoods my wife and I hit over 3500 dollars on a red,white and blue sevens and had to carry all the coins up to the cashier!! Thanks for the memories OSS and keep up the great videos!!

We were disappointed this past weekend to walk into the casino to find that they pulled 8 of the Quick Hit machines that we always play. We knew it was coming but when you actually see it happened, it’s sad😕😕 when the day comes that the pull all the others, we won’t go back.

Biggest win I ever had in a Casino was at Circus Circus over 20 years ago and began on one of those slots. I hit for like three grand then between roulette and single deck black jack I ran my winnings up to almost 14,000.00. One of the best weekends ever.

1994 I was 21 and my mom wanted to take me to Vegas ( we are in Ohio and my parents went 3 times a year) for my first time gambling. It was my first time flying and it terrified me! We were casino hopping and we were at treasure island. There was a bank of quarter machines wrapped around a Lexus. If you got all 3 Lexus symbols you won the Lexus. Well I decided I was going to win that Lexus and drive home so I didn’t have to fly lol. And being 21 and free drinks I was having a great time. I had a small bucket of quarters to start with and I just kept hitting bar after bar wild after wild…..the waitress was cheering me on and she never let my drink get empty. By the time I decided I was ready to leave I had 3 buckets full of quarters and a lady stalking my machine behind me lol. My mom kept smiling saying how much do you think you have there? I said oh maybe $100, she knew better but just smiled. So we went to the window to cash out and I had over $600! My mom just smiled and said there’s that beginners luck I was hoping for! I will never ever forget that❤

Doesnt seem to matter if over there or here, a bucket usually holds $200 of coin. I was wondering if you were gonna get your mouth around that huge burger, but managed it. Looked good.

DON'T GET MUCH MORE OLD SCHOOL THAT DAT...when it comes to the slots. Years ago mom and I went to Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun via a motorcoach bus, we would have stacks of quarters with us and play the $0.25 machines...and even in Atlantic City the penny and nickels. I did win $600 on one machine and it paid and paid in quarters. The last time I went to the casinos, which was earlier in the century, it was the time when the ticket dispensers came in. Haven't gone back since.

Slots of fun is connected to Circus Circus. Not sure if physically connected, as used to be years and years ago just next door to Circus Circus. But Circus Circus manages Slots of Fun. Went there in the late 70s. But now a Downtown Boyds casino comped patron. But plan on a trip to Slots of Fun my next LV trip. I put all my money in just 1 machine, 1 coin at a time, as want 100 spins for my $100. Except "classic" TOP DOLLAR and Blazing 7s, those max bet.
