    Thank you for this video:)
    I live in South Korea and sorry for my bad English.
    I'm learning many things about dog training, thanks to your videos.
    Unfortunately, in Korea, many people don't know how important puppy socialization is and they train dogs in the 80-90's method.
    I'll buy a puppy soon and I'm very nervous and exciting.
    Your videos are very helpful for me and I'm studying hard with your videos.

      They can be trained and will learn very quick. Never give up, loneliss is bad but they can overcome! Stay is a way to learn and they get it in a short time. You will have a friend for a long time.

    You are so lucky to have such a friend! Mine is 8y old and sleeps with me. I am 80y and did not have the heart to have a very lonely puppy! All is well but I got this one after I just lost the one before. I had to take up my mind! I did and NO regrets my learned to say please after it got strong in the back. Now heaven can wait! I am sooo happy and wish You the best! Same colour but only short tale but it matters NOT!

    I really didn't have a hard time training my dog I hardly ever use the harness on him he was sitting in the front yard while I mowed the grass he would stay there and watch me. I have nothing I can complain about with my dog he had so much love to offer

    You wont always have treats. I would love my JR up after I put the harness on and off. JR's are smart they respond very well to a variety of techniques. I miss him terrible he was so beautiful. I used to hike with him on the AT. We did thousands of miles together.

    I got my JR at 7 months old and she was a hyper untrained tornado which came into season a week later, i had to get rid of bad habits,house train her,teach to sit stay all the basics etc. Now ive had her almost a year. She now does a dozen tricks always quick to learn, shes chill with other people n playing with other dogs,she now only barks at the doorbell or a stranger in the garden or if a dog has a go first. She loves chasing squirrels up trees then is back in seconds when i whistle, HOWEVER... Ive lost count of the many leash pulling vids and techniques ive tried with her even after all this time its still a working progress. At home she follows me every where always in front looking behind to see which way or room i turn,that obviously is where the problem lies.

      Had a Jack Rat for 17 years. Wonderful dog, well behaved and very smart, but he always pulled no matter what we did.

    Great video but just want to give a head up with clicker training: Make sure to click at the exact moment you give the treat dont hesitate, they will get it easier and it's just a better way of training ❤

  • @corny5128
    @corny5128 2 года назад +2

    The pup is getting so many treats, it will be too fat to walk! Can this training not be done without introducing an unhealthy food fixation.

    What does the clicker signify?

    • @dasha-o9m8v
      @dasha-o9m8v 7 лет назад +1

      Agent it's for like when u say slate command when the dog hears the clicker it can stop doing the comand

    • @Eddie_and_Molly
      @Eddie_and_Molly 6 лет назад

      They've done research to determine which is better - clicker or verbal. In the end it didn't matter, it was the treat that was the determining factor. Pretty interesting!
