    I have been trying to a be trader for almost 3 year and finally I'm able level my graphs and trying to slowly grow the account. These took time and also it was possible due to low entry barrier. Yes there are people come here for gambling but there are peoples who genuinely trying to be better with these instruments. So better way might be have a exam or some way to verify user have deep knowledge about FNO rather than increasing margin as of now.

      That is a good point. Low entry barrier can help disciplined beginners learn. Do remember the word "disciplined"

    Option trading is very profitable but for the exchange & brokers, not for the retailers with small capital or trading with one or ten lots... There might be very few exception traders with extraordinary talent.

    Options is obvious risk and when there are other ways to invest ,one need to do options trading only as a hedge against stock ,mutual fund investments etc ..as he rightly mentioned .

    It's funny to hear that option trading is considered only for people with high capital said by "new rich people's" especially when you think about past option traders who started with low to moderate capital. Many of them even built their capital by selling courses to those with similar financial backgrounds😅

    • @marketfeedbyShariqueSamsudheen
      @marketfeedbyShariqueSamsudheen  12 дней назад +1

      Unfortunately that is a harsh truth.
      But do note: High capital is subjective. Do you think a college student trading casually should be able to do hero and zero options with ₹500 capital? I'm not saying make minimum capital to ₹20 lakhs, but maybe 5000? 10000? 20000? 1 lakh? That is up to the regulators

      Might be. But Options Trading as an instrument has some form of entry barriers in most mature markets

    • @abidup-p3m
      @abidup-p3m 13 дней назад

      If sebi restricts option trading with entry barrier, it would seriously affect liquidity and there wouldn't be much buyers. Brokers will collapse

    • @akhil_k91
      @akhil_k91 8 дней назад

      @@abidup-p3mIt will reduce the volume but wouldn't affect the liquidity bro beacuse trading volume of retailers (small capital retailers) is very low comparing to the institutions and HNI.

    Most people are attracted to options buying with the mindset of getting quick easy money daily, but the hard fact that the Profit a person made in a few days will get wipe out quicker on a single day or a single trade, the fact that options is harder is due to the emotional turbulence one faces which is almost 10 times than an equity trader.. Try options only on very very confirmed setups also limit the number of trades and position size accordingly also be always emotionally mature on taking small losses.

    if SEB puts an entry barrier of 20 lakhs, that would be the death of option sellers; Option sellers make money consistently by selling OTM options. Government will never ban F&O trading or bring entry barriers; because if you aren't profitable also ;you have to pay STT, Stamp Duty, GST and SEBI charges. If you are profitable then income tax on top of the charges mentioned previously. In our country, you can become a minister of state even if you haven't passed the 10th STD/SSLC. MM Mani is a classic example.

    • @AmjithPS
      @AmjithPS 12 дней назад

      A Minister of State is a position appointed by members who have been elected by the people. What does this have to do with educational qualifications? Does someone representing a farmer or a taxi driver need to be an IAS officer? People like you should at least be taught the basics of democracy and politics at a foundational level. This might help you understand that education has nothing to do with human rights.

    • @ramabhadranganesh4702

      @@AmjithPS if you believe that an IAS officer can be below a person who hasn't even cleared SSLC Exam ; no more debate. To become a peon in State service you need to be 10th STD pass; but to be an MLA/Minister no educational qualification; What a beautiful democracy!!!

    • @2vetrivel
      @2vetrivel 11 дней назад

      To represent a farmer or a taxi driver atleast he should have knowledge of reading and understanding, for that educational qualification is tool to showcase. It doesn't mean all educated are good in representation. @@AmjithPS

    But people can trade forex with just 100 dollars in the US. what about that? Forex isn't even allowed here. I wanna trade forex, i don't like options owing to theta decay, whereas in Forex one can do swing trading.

    Why shouldn't auto drivers trade options?
    This kind of trading snobbery by well established traders is sick. When people lose 50000 crores it also means others profited 50000 crores. The key to trading any market or instrument is knowledge, proper strategy and edge.
    Labeling something as bad becuase of subjective and prejudiced reasons is not right.
    This is a failure on the part of the regulator where they have kept the entry barrier low and introduced daily expiry which leads to more speculation.

    Nuclear energy was created only as a weapon for US during ww 2, l
    Alamo. Weapon was used and Japan stopped the war. The beneficial effects were only found and applied much later. In the case of futures and options it is not like that. So please donot exhibit your ignorance as an influencer. Everybody has levels of ignorance. But for fininflucers the less knowledgeable listener is risking his money and losing it, not your money... So it is better to shut up .
