- "Demons" was produced by the legendary Dario Argento and directed by Lamberto Bava.
The story takes place inside a cinema, where a demon outbreaks is occuring.
This movie was one of the last big horror movies from italy.
A demonic classic!

I remember my parents renting this movie back in the early 80's in Los Angeles and watching it on our newly purchased VCR. I was like 9 years old or something like that??? Great times and a great movie!

It was released in 1986. I saw it in the theater at age 17. Excellent, if somewhat claustrophobic, 1980's Italian Zombie film!

I had the exact experience. It was my first horror movie and It's still my favorite to this day.
Somehow they knew how important the score is for a movie especially horror. Imagine some of your favorite movies without their iconic themes. This score and soundtrack are great and make the movie awesome.
I wish I could watch this movie in one of those old style movie theaters. An absolute classic.
Yeah, that would be an unforgettable experience.

when i was younger i was never scarred by vampires, zombies or serial killers or anything like that. It was these movies that gave me nightmares. very well made movies and definitely disturbing

Dario Argento selection of music always superb. A least in all the productions had him evolved. Pure class.

Great horror movie! i saw this when i was 5 back in 87 with my 12 year old and 15 year old big brothers and it shocked me then saw it again at 13 and loved it for 25 years.
This movie is influential even to 28 Days movies and From Dusk Till Dawn
I consider this film a classic. It is WILD!

Argento c'ha messo solo il nome perchè all'epoca era sinonimo di vendite, ma col film c'entra poco o nulla
@@cesco1892 sì, oltre ad essere stato produttore e aver scritto la sceneggiatura (assieme ad altri) c'entra poco o nulla. Se produco qualcosa, supervisiono i lavori e scrivo pure parte della sceneggiatura mi sembra folle dire che non c'entri nulla. Poi ovviamente il nome argento in grande e Bava in piccolo è solo parte del gioco del marketing, ma sui lavori di Bava figlio e quelli prodotti a Soavi ci prendeva parte attivamente e come

They should make a new Demons movie where people are watching the movie Demons at a theatre and then the Rosemary Demon could come out of the TV and start a rampage. I'm sure Geretta Geretta and Bobby Rhodes would reprise their roles. It would be a great nod to Demons 1 and 2.
Geretta has written a script for a third official film and is directing it.

Mah, pratica tutti quelli di Argento hanno i Goblin, sia da produttore, che da regista, che da sceneggiatore e anche vari film di Bava hanno i Goblin tra le soundtrack.

I think this movie was a cool prototype for all modern infected zombie plagiarism like 28 days later, Rise of the Dead, Resident Evil, I Legend and so on... Vivat Dario Argento!!!
These are demons and not zombies and I Am Legend are biological vampires and i don't consider 28 Days to be "zombies" but infected rabid humans with rage

I tell ya, this movie left me literally unable to sleep for two weeks. What made me watch it was the fact that the soundtrack included a Motley Crue song (wikipedia). I though it was gonna be some cheesy not-scary-at-all flick, but apparently I wasn't familiar with the term 'Italian horror'. JESUS CHRIST. Thankfully, I didn't watch it at midnight, but in the sunny afternoon. Otherwise, a sheer heart attack would've been imminent.
