Well if you live in Michigan, your in for a treat if you attempt this. Have a tank seems to be leaking from topside. The rust and things giving way made me stop. I guess I can live with it. Felt if I kept going would be buying a tank and filler neck. On a rotted out 220000 car. Nope

I feel you on that! PA near as bad because they salt the roads, we would love seeing southern cars because everything came apart easy vs fighting near rot we have here. Heck few times I went to remove an axle nut and it was just a blob of rust no longer resembling what it once was

I have a 2010 ford focus se and my brother managed to jump a couple ditches in it. we dont hear the fuel pump turn on or make any noise when we turn ignition. Would you say my fuel pump is toast? car cranks but doesn't turn over.

I would say no? You jumped ditches like actual duke of hazard off roading? Ford has what they call the inertia switch on most models, if it gets hit hard in accident? It pops that switch to kill the pump

I was dead sleep from long night of cleaning here, but youtube ford inertia switch location on that model and check 1st bro

@@RANS87IROCZ No he fell asleep and drove through the ditch and hit 2 of the little humps where u can access fields at. Where would that inertia switch be? Sorry i'm used to JDM/German vehicles.

@@kevooohmygawd9578 your welcome, try too change fuel filter also, a clogged or bad filter can cause the pump to work harder and end up causing it to go bad
