- Two MAJOR fitness boosts? | Jurgen Klopp press conference review
Jurgen Klopp held a press conference at Anfield today to preview Liverpool's Europa League clash with Atalanta.
And the German provided fitness updates on four different players, hinting that two of them could well make a long overdue return to the sqaud on Thursday.
Reds reporter David Lynch was there to hear what Klopp had to say on Diogo Jota, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Alisson Becker and Stefan Bajcetic.
There was also an appearance from Harvey Elliott, who spoke about his desire to shake off his 'super sub' tag.
Find what else the pair discussed in this press conference review and let us know your thoughts on the match in the comments.

Which of the four returning players - Trent Alexander-Arnold, Diogo Jota, Alisson Becker or Stefan Bajcetic - is most important to Liverpool?
At the moment we need goals, precision in front of goal, so Jota. I'm glad to see them all back though.
Jota for me,he would of put at least one chance away in both games v the scum
Jota and Alisson for me.
Jota by far. I'm sure he would have a pair or three away against Man Utd
@@salvatorediprima943 Jota for me. We need a goal scorer for the run in.
If Jota can pick up where he left off before his injury then he will be a massive jolt in the arm to the team. We need more clinical finishing. Can't understate the impact Trent has on the team also.
We have badly missed Jota. He carried us through the months Salah was not available. A really clever striker. If he stays fit for the remainder of the season, we have a great chance of winning the title.
Agreed. He and Salah are the best two finishers of the five forwards and he’s been a miss in tight games.
@@PerputuallyCensored think jota and trent will get some minutes, maybe thursday but probably sunday given klopp said both have been training by themselves for a few weeks now. we need jota bk as soon as possible
@@PerputuallyCensoredPreviously Jota has hit the ground running when coming back after injury unlike, e.g., Szobo. So I think there's a chance that he could positively influence the final outcome.
Good news on TAA and Jots! We missed them!!
Massive news! Having Trent and Jota being back in the squad is sublime news, hope they make the bench and hope we see them in action against Palace, also the return of Alisson is wonderful I've missed him and i would love to see Bajectic play its been ages since we seen him play
I'm not sure what Spirit of Shankly are more upset about, the ticket price rise or the fact they wasn't consulted about it beforehand. The price rise is only 2% which apparetly is the lowest rise in the Premier League and we all know that the ticket price can't stay the same forever. It doesn't matter if the ticket price rise was now or in 10 years time, FSG was always going to face backlash for doing it.
As far as I know, ticket sales are income for the club to spend wether it's £5 Million or £50 Million a season that's money that can be spent on staff wages, player wages or transfer fees for the Men's or Women's team.
Jota the slotter has been a big miss
Klopp pulling up that journo on the terrible interview of Hendo in the Dutch league was legendary!!
We need to start keeping clean sheets or we will win nothing else this season, agree with you and Harvey he gives us energy
Great report mate Jota has been so missed and same with Trent and Alisson. We need all our top players back for the run in we can't afford to lose or draw any remaining games.Have a great night fella.👍
Will be massive to have Trent and Jota back.
Really missed Trent's searching balls and of course Jota's goals, perfect timing for the run in 🤞🏻
Oh absolutely Elliott to start!!!!🤞👏👏👏😊
I have the guts feelings with all the stars coming back to full training, we will win the league come may. I have the feeling that other teams will bleak just like Liverpool did against Manchester.Go Liverpool,go Liverpool.
Let’s see who’s next to get injured,we must have the worst injury record in the prem, but it runs all through the youth system, loads of youngsters have had bad injuries their too,
thank u David
Thanks for watching!

I thought I had quite a few to be honest 😂 Maybe a bit more growth coming over the summer with transfers to talk about!
@@davidlynchlfc keep up the good work and they will come, ☺️
Help the team with and with out protest
Even if Jota is only fit to play 45 minutes of a game, it’ll be a game changer for us. It gives Klopp an option if he sees Salah, Nunez and Diaz spurning chance after chance like they’re at a buffet table that won’t stop giving away food. Those 3 add to the stress and high blood pressure that LFC fans are enduring in games 😂.
On current form, Elliot is more effective as our right 8 than Szoboszlai. Crazy to say that at the start of the season but that's the truth now.
😻
Mybe some resolut atacc and resolut defens
Win all remaining P L games , finish on # 92 points , a level never reached by #Fergie or #Wenger

The problem with football now because it’s a multi billion buisness not a sport now,the true fans are being ignored and pushed out,the only ticket I can get at anfield is hospitality tickets and those prices are disgraceful YNWA
