      @jaredpenton7416 I'm pretty sure the coaching staff has weighed their options, have had multiple conversations and got input from all sort of sources from interns, advisors. Consultants, players and coaches and came up with a plan. Let's not discredit the cheeto eating beer drinking emotional maniacs who know football better than most players and coaches. I was so frustrated with the audio issues at the beginning that I quit watching, but I came back to it when it popped in my feed again. I FF'd to where the audio worked again. (This is just FYI background because I'm sure that I'm one of many.)
    However, I clicked the Like button, and I'm commenting here because I so greatly appreciated Sean's comments on Desmond Howard. I'm so tired of that guy. I often get annoyed with a guy like Cowherd, but he at least calls it down the middle, and he often adds something to the conversation, even if it's only because of his bringing up the topic. Howard adds NOTHING. He never has. He quite clearly takes great pride in having gone to Michigan, and that's great for him, but let's not pretend that he's an intellectual force who would have ever gone to any elite university apart from his athletic ability. I'd like to figure out a way to enjoy the Game Day crew without having to bear his grating presence and comments. Dude is such a clueless, classless windbag.

    We had more first downs
    Dominated time of possession
    Better third down conversion
    Better yards per rush
    And roughly same total yards
    The issue was we also had twice the amount of penalties and raiola is still growing. His lack of experience wasn’t all that noticeable until we hit big ten play, but it’s very obvious now. Will Howard found his open receivers, raiola overthrows his, and not just today. That’s not satterfield

    There were some of us who thought Nebraska had a chance in this game. I tweeted I’d be more disappointed if they didn’t show up against OSU than against IU. That’s because I thought the coaches got too comfortable putting up with missed assignments. I shared when that’s happening they’re either coaching it or condoning it & I didn’t think they were coaching it. The players did their jobs at higher levels against OSU. They’re capable, coaches must demand it or play the guys who will get it done. The guys stepped up!
    It’s important to see each week as it’s own. The team needs to build off of last week but the following week is its own game. We need to figure out the offense being more consistent. Dillon needs to complete those wide open throws also (we all know he can).
    There is no conspiracy with the officials. They’re just bad. They need to hire full time officials.
    Onward to the Bruins. We need to get this win. GBR!

    I think we're taking a little far in saying that we "should have" won. Dylan missed two open touchdowns and was not Elite when he had to be. Our defense played great but they got smoked over the top and couldn't get the game winning stop I think it's more accurate to say we "could have" won.

    I think personally more of the same. Still not making the plays to win games. I was proud of the response after last weeks disaster, but at the same time this is the same old Nebraska. I think it’s time to hold Raiola accountable and quit pampering him with the freshman quarterback label. He needs to start executing better with his passes. Defensively, I would have really liked to see us stick our chest out and get the big stop after taking the lead, because OSU just went down the field with ease with a bad o line. Today felt like we played good but we aren’t making the big plays to win the game though. On a high night we made some dang field goals! Again, Satts red zone play calling is highly questionable. Seems like he just doesn’t know how to dial it up.

      Those people need to go be a fan of someone like Ohio State where they throw bottles on the field, boo Chip Kelley’s play calling, call for Ryan Day to be fired after a win. We have four winnable games left in the season. We should be hyping our team up. All week it was how bad we will lose and then after the game it’s “you didn’t do enough to win”. Tired of the loser mentality from the fan base. Rhule is the guy to build long term success. Not a Cignetti who’s going to bring guys in, bolt for the next job, take the best players with him and leave a void in the wake. Long term success doesn’t come over night. Not from (almost) beating an Ohio Sate or losing big to an Indiana. Trust the process. Be positive.

    • @ginova11
      @ginova11 16 дней назад +2

      Yea, they played defense great today. Special teams finally learned how to kick, & the kicker played an ELITE game.
      But if you want us to pretend that Satterfield is anything other than a below average OC, you need to wake the hell up and provide one, JUST ONE example of a top offense he has EVER coordinated. He had a 5 star QB at South Carolina who is now starting in the NFL. He has another one now. Yet, his offenses are consistently middle of the pack on the best of days. I am not going to pretend that he called a good game just because the score was close. Rhule actually opted for FG’s this week and the D played great, that is why the game was closer. The offense scored 1 TD despite being handed the ball on the opponents 6.

      @@shogunjobu In the short term, yes. You can call a good game but the players might have an off day and not execute.
