Watching the combat as a mage, I'm definitely glad I went rogue for my first play through. Blocking and dodging are a huge game changer with melee, as it leads into the next attack instead of interrupting your flow. Although it seems like with a mage it's much easier to control your party, as you can sit back and pick targets to combo with abilities easier. I'm still really struggling with that part of the combat. Also..... The out of sync lips are driving me nuts too lol
Rogue was a very close second for me, I almost chose it, and I think I would have enjoyed the flow of the rogue more. It is nice to sit back with the mage to control your party more easily, but sometimes I forget the companions are even there! And I am so relieved to hear I'm not the only one who's bothered by the sync issue! Haha.
