She did the same when Madds forgot her solo, there's even a "bonus scene" of her yelling at them cause they're running to hug her, she was panicking sitting in Chloe's lap... Is such a heartbreaking scene to watch, the only reason was able to comfort her was because when Abby went back stage Chloe was already there with her
It scares me how good at manipulation and gaslighting Abby was. We saw this quite a bit with Maddie, and many of the other girls when she pinned their mom’s actions on them, but the fact that she made it seem like it was Christi’s fault and made Christi cry and feel guilty when she just asked for Chloé to be treated more kindly and with the respect she deserves as a student.. it’s honestly really sad and disheartening. Christi made valid points - Chloé was a student, a little girl, and should be treated with kindness and respect. Anything Abby has against Christi and Marc should stay between her, Christi, and Marc. Chloé didn’t need to be dragged in. This episode as a whole was so sad.
As a teacher I'm sad to say that some of my colleagues over the years after having an interaction with a parent they don't like they would treat the child badly. I ended up only going to the staffroom on the one morning tea we had to be there because I didn't want to hear the nasty things that were being said about some students not just academically but what they look like as well as other unprofessional things.

In my personal opinion…..anyone who genuinely sees Abby as a good person, and supports her as well as shames for girls for not staying in contact with her, or being “grateful” to her……shouldn’t have kids because they’re excusing blatantly toxic, mentally and emotionally abusive behavior. It also tells me that those people wouldn’t even care if their own kids were in an environment like that, as long as their kids are getting ahead that’s all that matters, and that to me is sick…..Yes I understand tough love, and sometimes it can help a kid do better, but if it means that the tough love is a mask for some type of abusive behavior especially from an adult towards a little kid…..at that point it’s not worth any success that would come that child’s way. No amount of fame, and success is worth a person specifically a child losing their confidence, self esteem, and basically never having a real childhood.

I know this is an old comment but the original moms were stuck in a contract with not only the ALDC studio but lifetime. Lifetime would threaten to sue them for everything they had if they quit and if they quit the ALDC contract and they were a title holder they would be black balled in the dance world or they would have to pay Abby 100,000 dollars in CASH within a week. So that would explain why they stayed for so long. Kelly literally had to sue lifetime in order to get out of her contract.
