I understand the tires around the steel to reduce splatter damage. Were there any issue with bullets coming back at the shooter if they hit the tire?

What lol no, they go through the tires like they aren't even there.

I figured, but I've heard rumors of bullets bouncing off the side of tires when ranges use them as berms.

They're using different timer on different stages.
On the first stage it's a Speed Timer 3000.
On the third stage it's a CED 7000.
