There's a legend of something happening at a diving board in my city. I can't find evidence of it and I doubt it happened. It may be gory, so don't read if you're sensitive
      .
      .
      .
      .
      .
So apparently a guy snuck in late at night to dive, anyway he was drunk and messed up so belly flopped and exploded everywhere. They closed the pool for weeks to remove the sludge.

For those who don't know they are doing this with "bubbles". The bubbles are used to break the surface tension of the water to make it a "softer" landing. They are a saving grace for divers learning new dives because they cause smacks to hurt very little or not at all. Just a little tidbit I thought some people might find interesting.😊

They only care about how brave you are. And you only have 3 sec after that you are unqualified. so I remember my couch while training if the person is afraid the couch just kick him into the water 💦💦 . Its so much easier to keep control in the air with sone forward momentum. A small run-up to get comfortable is a great way to start out. Then you just "send it" afterwards 😁

I am (was before quarantine, I’ll resume after COVID) a diver. When I dive off 10 meter, I feel like I’m flying. It’s amazing. Also I’ve dove right there in Mission Veijo.

Fun fact! It is 10 meters looking up from the water level to the platform. Looking down from the platform it is at least 20 meters.
