I have a surf specific S.O.T The perception five 0. This is a good all rounder for the surf but hard work on the muscles - 6 pack region & inner thigh groin area. Takes some time to get used to the position. I have used a Wilderness Ripper. Very stable, short 2.43m & has a built in solid back rest. Not ace in surf but all round is fun and comfy. recommend you google Brookbanks Kayaks (stockport) and other uk outlets. They are on the money for advice, variety and availabilty. have fun dude. dazp

Have a couple on here so far but with Scooter taken from Mates Go Pro so fairly distant. Search my name and Polzeath. There is another one using sit in kayak at Nene Valley - the difference in technique takes some work to get used to. Will certainly post new vids when get the Five 0. Thanks
Ha ha. Think Coastguard might be needed to pick up all the real surfer guys I'd wipe out accidentally. Then spend days searching for me! Would not be most popular person on Fistral that day!

It's a Perception Five 0 sit on top. It has a 180mm fin at the rear.

cheers greatroads for the comments. The yak boards will fit inside a car (Just) the tricky part is getting them to the beach, so use a C tug trolley.

They are a pretty good sit on top to surf with. The position takes a bit of getting used to though. Have fun dude. Post me your vids if you do.
