I have my students write down the amount of areas they want to clean or study on a post it note. If you have five areas of cleaning then you will have five post it notes which are numbered 1-5. Every time you clean an area the post it note gets trashed. It keeps you aware of your journey without overwhelming the brain. It has helped them stay on track. You got this. Many blessings.
I'll say this for filming on a phone , I've only ever had the problem of the battery dying. Not once has it lost footage or had trouble exporting or anything like that. I'd use a Polaroid if I could 🤣😁❤️✌🏻

My Bassett beagle mix had forever ear problems. I tried every prescription and over the counter med for her but it was a constant struggle. I know I paid a ton to the vet trying to keep her ears clear. Some dogs are just prone to it.

Hello Paul, I'll tell you what I've told my children so they don't get overwhelmed. One step at a time. One thing at a time and before you know it, it's finished and you feel good about it. ❤
Paul, Once you organize your shop it will be easier to find things to turn in for cash and you'll have more room too. You'll be glad you got organized and then keeping your shop organized will be easy to do from then on. Go and git 'er done! 😂 Set a timer for 30 minutes and start in one area at a time. A little everyday and the shop will be done. That's how I organized my house. Picked a closet or a bathroom or a room and cleaned out junk, clothes, shoes, purses, toiletries etc. for recycling, reuse or reduce.

Actually your shop didn't look as bad as I expected. What happened to your bins you had so many? You could really use a photo corner with maybe a plain back ground and a light. A charity shop have after all as their purpose to raise money for their charitable purpose, and for which purpose a persone donate goods, which is not neccesarily to provide cheap goods to frugal and/or low income people (which may at occasion be a positive side effect but still not the charity's main purpose? So if they can get $30 for a Hummel figurine I think they should price it as such and not $2. But of course, it's not wise to have the prices so high that people who shop notice that it's the same items still there for weeks and months). A person who donates a Hummel figurine to SA likely does it for they intend to help for instance homeless people and not for the purpose of providing a bargain for a collector, and $30 gets more for homeless people than $2 would. There was one owner of a interior channel once who had a similar critique to her viewers and wanted them to not buy vintage from charity shops if they can afford to buy new and the reason she gave was that charity shops will sell things cheaper if there's is less demand. But such view is kind of off and kind of disrespectful of the actual purpose for the charity organisations' purpose with their 2nd hand stores.

So why would I buy a scuffed piece and pay to have it delivered when I could buy a similar piece new with free delivery. Some of the pieces were more than a similar piece new. I don't know about other people but I would prefer to buy second hand but I have a budget as well . If they lower their prices some they would get more sales.

Yeah it makes since to me Paul. I know that as I say something to the guys in my online mens devotional group I feel like I feel more dedicated to work on that area of my life. It has also made me look at other things deferentially. Like the other day I had mowed my front yard including trimming between fences between two of my neighbor fences and my fence. I wanted to go over and trim the front bank for an older neighbor and another neighbor, but when I looked I was to low on trimmer line. The next morning I went to get my bulk trimmer line so I could refill my spools. However no matter how hard I tried I could not find the bulk spool. Beginning to get aggravated I stopped and asked the Lord to help me find it. I litterly turned around and the first thing I saw was the bulk spool right where I had looked for or three times prior. I’m finding the more I change because of the group the more I want to change.

I don't have ADHD, but I have to pick up rubbish I see on my street or others street, worse even when there is a garbage bin near the rubbish and people still can't put it in. Fast food places are the worst. I live in Carlisle Cumbria England.
If I had a shop I'd have so much electronics to recycle. Televisions and computer monitors are 10 dollars each to have disposed of by the city/County. I do free disposal of those items.

Yes Paul, organization has helped me. I have been ckeaning up and trowing out stuff that i dont use. Well whats tradh is trash and what is donatable i donate. I also leave free stuff on my curb and most of the time it gets done. BTW im at 40 pounds down. Doctor is happy that im healthy.
I changed my eating habits. I eat more vegetables and I have been eating kale salads. There is at Wal-Mart ready to eat salad kit's and they are delicious. I psychologically tell myself I'm eating to fuel my body. I treat myself one a week.

To my eye like it. I don't know how to play guitar, but can read the music... and teach basics of playing. I had 7 years of Classical Piano lessons.... When I was very young. In my 30's involved in serious accident 9-6-1989 ( had 17 1/2 years of sobriety at the time of accident) ... Amongst all the injuries, I received a really bad TBI (Trauma Brain Injury) I haven't ever been able to regain the ability of playing piano since... But able to still teach the basics too.... Once recovering the aftermath of the accident and becoming addicted to the prescriptions... and actually, beginning my recovery, again... 10-17-1994 ( 5 years of pure insanity was enough) Infact had helped a dear friend who was a music teacher during my rehabilitation in her class for a long time... 3 or 4 years... I too had tutored her students in other subjects in order to help them bring their grades up, so they could hold the grade points grading to be allowed to be involved in the extracurricular activities they wanted to be in. A great challenge for me. Oh wow ... My first line sure fell into place with our Thanks & Prayer at the end... 😊 Amen... I share for others to know of my experience, strength and hope has led me through the darkest days and have not had to pick up by the Grace of God.... and yes... All things are possible... I could not have done it without God.... I absolutely must be grateful for every day. As a great reminder even though I mention those darkest days I still have to go through... Still much, much better that those days out there still suffering. I truly believe, no matter how much time we have living clean and sober... We only have today... to make today better than yesterday. I have rambled enough... Paul if you do not want this here you can take it off, no hard feelings ... Just felt I needed to share it...

Weight watchers always told us, if you bite it , you wright it. If you clean the yard and organize it in piles, you know what you have. For me, I can't stand it if my yard is not organized.
I'm glad saying something helps it happen for you. When I say something and I hear myself say it, somehow in my head, it makes me feel like I've already done it so I don't have to think of it anymore. That means I don't do it. So, I try to keep quiet about it. Dopamine can also increase after the task is done... not just in anticipation of doing it.

Yes she does. I cleaned out her ears everyday. We have been to the vet almost a dozen times trying different things

When I used to scrap back in the say we never found as much as you do we would get alot of scrap from farms

I share for others to know of my experience, strength and hope has led me through the darkest days and have not had to pick up by the Grace of God.... and yes... All things are possible... I could not have done it without God.... I absolutely must be grateful for every day. As a great reminder even though I mention those darkest days I still have to go through... Still much, much better that those days out there still suffering. I truly believe, no matter how much time we have living clean and sober... We only have today... to make today better than yesterday.
I have rambled enough... Paul if you do not want this here you can take it off, no hard feelings ... Just felt I needed to share it...
Think how Great you’ll feel when your shop is organized. Best feeling ever when you get stuff uncluttered and organized! Your shop doesn’t look that bad bet you that it would take less than 3 hours with good music by your side to get it done. Hey, why not bring us along! 😉🇨🇦
My cargo van limits the amount I can gather but it's working for me. I've made three trips to the scrap yard per day many times just from my neighborhood. The joy of this has many facits. You are my scrap guru. I can't resist saying "morning Ralph, morning Sam" passing the G man.

I'm glad saying something helps it happen for you. When I say something and I hear myself say it, somehow in my head, it makes me feel like I've already done it so I don't have to think of it anymore. That means I don't do it. So, I try to keep quiet about it. Dopamine can also increase after the task is done... not just in anticipation of doing it.

I've had a bike guy two or three times in the past but they tend to roll up shop quick.
