Healed in Christ, inspired by the Anointing of the Sick, is a song from Sarah Hart's 10th album, Sacrament. The collection explores the Seven Sacraments of the Catholic Church. The serene and inspirational songs are about each of the rites.
We shall sing forever, but some yielded up in spirit and heart their soul and passion within this world. You will be anointed upon with crowns [prizes] for your actions in this day. Thank you.
Beautiful singing; beautiful voice!

I'm learning this one. You play it in G and in OCP it's written in A. Chris Brunelle capos 2 and plays in G which is A. So I just gotta figure out which is easier on my voice
I like capo 2 and play in G like Chris does. Which is in A. The recording is in G, not A, so if you want to play it in the same key as Sara, play it in G, just take the capo off. Just transpose from OCP which writes chords in A. Really prayerful song. Love it>
Yay!
I commented on another video with a song by Sarah Hart, and I was chastised for my opinion. So, one would think I’d be hesitant to do it again; but I feel moved to. This music is just incoherent and a bunch of words that I guess the composer thinks sounds like it would be a cute little prayer, but it’s just horrible. Not that it is bad in and of itself necessarily , but this is sold by OCP to be used at Mass, and this is just about the furthest thing from being appropriate for the Mass. And to be very honest, musically and poetically, it’s just not good! If Sarah wants to write country or pop songs, I think she would be fantastic at that! But writing pieces for the liturgy she ought leave to somebody else. Pax!
Your opinion is your own and you should not be chastised for having it. Sometimes, when we feel strongly about something, any opinion different than ours is not really understood. From a liturgy standpoint, just to point out that all songs, even if they are in Breaking Bread, etc. aren't necessarily written to be used at Mass. This one in particular is suggested for the Anointing of the Sick. But in general, Isn't it funny how some songs just strike us to the soul, and others just feel meh? And how blessed we are that we don't all share the same opinions as one another. How doubly blessed are we that we that our faith allows for differences, while we offer our hearts and voices to the one God who loves us all?
It's not for Mass; that is quite clearly stated. It's for the Anointing of the Sick, a sacrament often, and especially at this time, received far from the Mass, far from a family gathering.
I will pray for you.
Absolutely gorgeous! Like all your music. You are so gifted.💙
I agree it’s truly an awful collection of pious words and emotional claptrap.
