As fine tuned as these cars are, it’d take a while to work out a camera position that’d not mess the jumps & turns up. These guys spend hours at the track finding that sweet spot & throwing a GoPro on one sounds like a cool idea, it’s probably not gonna be as intense bc it won’t handle turns & jumps like in this video. I raced, nitro & electric. Never was good, but I could tell when the smallest thing was off.
Went from watching trees getting cut down to RC racing don't know how but that was awesome. I love the response crews! we have a crash stay where you are do not panic we have trained professionals on sight. At least give them chairs to sit on not buckets lmao

I love and watch F1 a lot and I was wondering if you could introduce penalties in Off-road Electrics racing for causing a collision or dangerous driving. Like a 1-second penalty for dangerous driving and a 3-second penalty for causing a collision. It would really change the outcome of the races and make them more exciting and unpredictable.
At larger RC events like this one there is a "referee" who watches the race and have a wireless mic to talk to the race director in case there is the need for a "stop & go" penalty. The race director can also call a penalty on a driver too.
I've had 10th scale, 5th scale, nitro, electric and so on, but 8th scale 6S buggies are the best RC vehicles that I've ever driven on an RC or BMX track.

Looked like the yellow & orange was trying to spin blue at the end. I think he would have easily won if he hadn't wrecked earlier. His mid-air adjustments were the work of a maestro.

This was so mesmerizing, I just love motorsports, in any size, as long as these is driving skills involved, I'm in. I watch The BTCC & go every year it comes to Scotland. But this I feel I could do. I know it looks easier than it is. I have a lot if RC cars. Also collect model cars 118 124 scale mostly. So I'm definitely gonna be watching more of these ✌
Lol right! I'd be scared to be the guy in the middle of the track, looking one way then the next second a RC is flying at your face right when you turn around.
Throttle control with the radio and ESC. When you pull the throttle in mid air, it makes the car lean backwards or point the front into the air. If you use brake then the car will dip forward where the nose wants to go down. So the drivers will use the trigger on the radio to have the right amount of throttle and brake and depending on their setup their ESC might add braking for them so they don't need to use brake on the radio trigger.
@@tormendor8585 I agree, with the wheels spinning so quickly it has a gyroscopic effect. Controlling the throttle and accellerating and braking controls the gyro effect. I found the lead car that went into second had the best effect. They leveled out while jumping and it was just incredible.
That yellow cars comeback was one of the most epic things I’ve ever seen. The crash at the end broke my heart.

I used to race these in Norwich at the TA centre. Was such fun and seriously nerve wracking.

I thought it had something to do with fans or gyros. The cars must be super light if the wheel's torque can rotate them.
