    hahahah. I think the Canadians got lost. They click on a video where Canada lost just to brag about a DIFFERENT game where Canada won. That is called CIC- Canadian Inferiority Complex

      Def Albino Its because the US wins few and far in between when it comes to hockey, the country currently has the longest active gold medal drought at the senior level of all major hockey playing countries, 1980 and counting for Olympic Gold & 1933 for World Championship Gold, 1996 for the last win at the senior level. He's insanely bitter about that.
      All of the major hockey countries have won at the senior level in recent memory except for the US, so he brings up "Youth Olympics" a brand new boys tournament that isn't even televised because that's really all he has at this moment in time, kinda cute.

    Americans take so much shit even though we are the most well rounded country when it comes to competing in every sport. Canada is only good at hockey, and we play them tough a lot of the time, and all Canadians talk about is how they are a more dominant country than the States. Im yet to meet a Canadian who understands that they can't compete in anything else.

    I pains me every time a goalie gets tugged....regardless of team!!! Sorry Canadians, while I absolutely respect your hockey prowess, sometimes you just get beat. There is absolutely no shame in that!!! It's the nature of the game, and as a North Dakotan I can attest to that!! So you lost at the world juniors....you killed it at the Olympics! The most important this, in my opinion, is that HOCKEY IS THE BEST SPORT IN THE HISTORY OF ANYTHING!!!!

    Canada was not strong enough To compete this year.

  • @ryankeeth3923
    @ryankeeth3923 9 лет назад +1

    Canada's one goal (at 7:27) definitely should not have been a goal. The ref to the left of the net clearly blew his whistle after the first rebound hit the crossbar. It would have been rough for Canada to get a goal called off because of an early, unwarranted whistle, but I can understand Gibson's frustration with the good goal call. Play was over when the puck went in the net.

    Hockey was invented by the British

    • @sahilasre4006
      @sahilasre4006 8 лет назад

      No, ice hockey is a Canadian sport that is based on stick and ball on ice games that originated in Europe. If it's a British game, care to explain why people don't give a shit about hockey there?

    • @sahilasre4006
      @sahilasre4006 8 лет назад

      No, it just evolved from similar games. The game of hockey we all know and play today is Canadian. The first organized game of hockey was played in 19th century Canada.

    • @sahilasre4006
      @sahilasre4006 8 лет назад

      Canada was already a country by the time the first organized game was played in the 1870s (Canada became a country in 1867). And even if it was a British invention, so what? If the British invented it, Canadians popularized, institutionalized, and perfected it. Also, the US never took over Canada if that's what you were saying.

    I don't know what's going on with goalies I don't care how great you are you would be even better if you just stood up Why commit before you know where the shot is going.... I can see dropping to your knees to look through traffic... These goalies don't cut the angle down and take the shot away.. When I asked a radio show host he said,"goalies are bigger and stronger, so they get their gloves up to the corners fast enough... Half of these shots would hit the damn goalie if he stood his ground and cut the angles.. Think you're taking a shot to the top corner website if you're on your knees you have to get that glove up and that's the only chance... If you are standing up your gloves halfway there Your secondary chance at stop is your elbow/shoulder... It just doesn't make sense to drop to your knees every time... I think if they took away the butterfly/ Tony E. Stance.. Goalies would not be so inclind to drop to take away the 5 hole... By standing up you automatically take it away just just close your legs whatever happened to that stance.... I see it But not often enough As soon as the threat is on they return to butterfly... One less thing to think about just doesn't make sense....

      +OceanBlue when your favourite American NHL team wins the Stanley cup one year you can thank all the Canadian players that did it for you. You Americans need to quit using that excuse that you run the NHL, because us Canadians practically let you.

      OceanBlue Stupid idiot lol, it's hard to fit almost every single Canadian in the league into 7 Canadian teams as appose to 23 (soon to be 24) American teams. Your American teams literally wouldn't be shit, nor exist without your Canadian stars. A lot more Americans and Europeans play on the Canadian franchises here. You're stupid.

    This Canadian team was such a disappointment. Look at all the big names on this team. Nugent-Hopkins, Huberdeau, Hamilton, Scheifele, Strome, Subban, Rattie, Rielly. These guys just didn't click. Hopefully this year Brent Sutter can assemble a winner with less talent to choose from.

    well i think what most canadians don't undestand is although on paper we r the top team almost every tournament every other team has improved especially the states. and imo the world champioships is a irrelevant tournament were nhl rejects and non playoff players from nhl play even when canada wins i say the same thing. imo again i think to measure who's #1 you have to ice best vs best then see who's standing last. usa almost beat us so you guys have a good and fast team for sochi

    Juniors are something when Canada wins right? Canada fans boasted their 14 or whatever in a row medaling but now that they didn't medal, it's nothing? Regardless of whether you guys had a better goalie, how does that stop the US goalie Gibson? Doesn't matter who you put in the net when you can't even score against the other team.

    LOL 5-1 isnt luck. A game in OT decided by a tip or a broken sitck for one of Canada's defenseman leading to a winner is luck. USA looks good and will continue to impress moving forward.

    Any damn person who actually watched the entire game would see that Subban is not to blame, but the defense was. How come when a team lose, everybody points out the goalie, never the d-men. The number of breakaways, 2 on 1 and 3 on 2 or 3 on 1 that team Canada gave was just fucking aweful! (even Hamilton) Now, go Sweden! ;) As long as these guys play well for the Bruins :)

    hockey compares to soccer, baseball, basketball, football, tennis, to name a few is the most difficult game ti master. Give me one day i can show a beginner to play those games for fun but it take months before a one can play hockey for fun. This is why US don't have much people into hockey, they're not naturally hockey talent like Canadian ;-)

      ***** I'm not saying that white people are better, if you're implying it. I'm saying that racial diversity in ice hockey or any other sport is not an issue, if the sport's players aren't actively being racist.

      ***** Um... You're not making much sense. I'm not Canadian. And if you want to, I can list some Asian NHL players. Paul Kariya, Richard Park and Jim Paek off the top of my head. And there are lots of Hispanic or latino and blacks in the NHL.

      I am from US. There are about 10 blacks in the NHL. There are about 4 US blacks.
