@1:36 - 4:02 this beginning has always fucked me around since I found this band and this was my first song I found by them thanks to no one but a RUclips Suggestion Slide Bar oddly true, nvr have I evr been so thankful to have discovered a band or this song by them; respect
These things moved me when I turned my back. Now I return with open hands I found light that lead me to the shrine where children sang and pilgrims mourned I was lost but not alone From a distance they come alive. Sleepwalking across the plains No answers were found here. Seeking shelter in her embrace Down on sore knees. Erase and begin. Under my eyelids, come forth light
I'm very intrigued by this bands sound. I just heard of them minutes ago & I decided to try out their album "Somewhere Along The Highway." This track definitely perks my ears up. Lets try track 3......
All of their albums are great, but I agree that Salvation, Somewhere Along the Highway and Vertikal are my personal favorites. If you like these guys, you might also like Callisto (from Finland) or even maybe A Hope for Home (from the US) on The Everlasting Man, Realis and In Abstraction. Also, another great band in the post-metal genre would be Hands or its successor project, Everything In Slow Motion. They're both a more direct, less drawn out sound overall but have a similar amount of atmosphere and excellent songwriting. :)
This whole album is hauntingly beautiful, with such a broad range of sound and emotion.
Greatest song about Finland I've ever heard.... ;)

SUOMI :D:D
this is good!
Beauty amidst chaos
So enthralling and powerful!
8:15 explosion
torilla tavataan...?
If Stalin had heard this, maybe he would have reconsidered invading Finland. These dudes are hardcore
Who would dislike?
I wonder why doom metal actually makes me worry less. Maybe it's like coating steel beams with rust to prevent corrosion.
it turns pain into beauty so you can do so with your own pain
Dayum...🤔 why did that make sense?
If Pink Floyd did extreme metal
Wouldn't that be like Yes doing hardcore punk?
Shame on you for putting some advertising at the middle of the song
