I don't think it is. Once bitcoin crosses it's all time high, it becomes the new bottom. Anything under 69k is a good buy. It's still advisable to work with a fiduciary advisor instead of relying solely on speculations

You, don't personally own that bitcoin. Also depends on where you're from if Canadian you can invest through a TFSA and your principal is basically protected.
Not actually owning the asset. Better be a long term multiyear or decade play to be buying the ETF. Or if you have a huge portfolio. Once my portfolio gets big enough, I will not want to manage it myself and I will be looking for something like an ETF, IRA or Trust to hold and manage my funds. This is the difference. It's mainly for big money and business and a difference in philosophy with the whole "not your keys, not your Bitcoin" type of thing. But to most people this is a pointless debate as there will always be a need for both and once my portfolio is big enough there isn't any way I want to be moving and holding millions of dollars on a ledger or hot wallet.

One thing Cathie Fails to mention. They say that 25% of BTC is lost forever. Satoshi has 1M and is dead. So thats 15M total supply of BTC. 15M cant be held by individuals. Maybe 10M and there is 5 Million left that the banks are fighting over but the the total supply of BTC will only be 15M, Simple math.

There has never been an ETF before based on a commodity with a hard capped fixed supply, aka inelastic. With everything else, supply is elastic. For example with gold, if the price goes up enough there are more mines that become viable and more gold enters the supply. Uncharted territory for price discovery

I don't think it is. Once bitcoin crosses it's all time high, it becomes the new bottom. Anything under 69k is a good buy. It's still advisable to work with a fiduciary advisor instead of relying solely on speculations

Be aware that it costs money every time you buy and sell a stock. A lot of people think they can make a nice profit by buying a stock when it dips down a little and then dumping it when it recovers but they fail to factor in the considerable fees the brokers charge you to place your orders
Also be aware that it's basically gambling, it shouldn't be done with money you're going to need in the future, consider whatever you invest already lost

You, don't personally own that bitcoin. Also depends on where you're from if Canadian you can invest through a TFSA and your principal is basically protected.
Not actually owning the asset. Better be a long term multiyear or decade play to be buying the ETF. Or if you have a huge portfolio. Once my portfolio gets big enough, I will not want to manage it myself and I will be looking for something like an ETF, IRA or Trust to hold and manage my funds. This is the difference. It's mainly for big money and business and a difference in philosophy with the whole "not your keys, not your Bitcoin" type of thing. But to most people this is a pointless debate as there will always be a need for both and once my portfolio is big enough there isn't any way I want to be moving and holding millions of dollars on a ledger or hot wallet.

One thing Cathie Fails to mention. They say that 25% of BTC is lost forever. Satoshi has 1M and is dead. So thats 15M total supply of BTC. 15M cant be held by individuals. Maybe 10M and there is 5 Million left that the banks are fighting over but the the total supply of BTC will only be 15M, Simple math.

There has never been an ETF before based on a commodity with a hard capped fixed supply, aka inelastic. With everything else, supply is elastic. For example with gold, if the price goes up enough there are more mines that become viable and more gold enters the supply. Uncharted territory for price discovery
