올해 11회를 맞은 '세계人제주 외국인 커뮤니티 제전'!!
제주에 거주하는 외국인들이 제주도민과 함께하는 최대 축제의 장 공연실황을 소개합니니다.
헤드라인제주가 주최하고, 제주특별자치도가 후원한 제주 거주 외국인들의 대축제인 '2024 세계人제주 외국인 커뮤니티 제전'이 주말인 8일 저녁 제주시 탑동 해변공연장에서 성황리에 개최됐습니다.
축제는 제주에 거주하는 외국인 커뮤니티들이 직접 기획하고 준비한 총화의 결실이라는 점에서 의미를 크게 했습니다. 외국인 참가자들은 다양한 장르의 음악과 퍼포먼스 등을 선보였습니다.
전문MC 김지환씨와 최정윤(영어) 사회로 진행된 무대는 다문화가정이 함께하는 제주글로벌난타봉사회(드림글로벌예술단)의 난타 공연을 시작으로, 미국과 캐나다, 아일랜드, 호주에 이어 베네수엘라까지 세계 각국의 외국인 커뮤니티들이 재즈, 포크, 락, 팝을 비롯해 클래식까지 다양한 장르의 자작곡과 커버송을 선보였습니다.
아울러 외국인 플리마켓과 세계문화체험이 열리는 부대행사장에서도 '스페셜 DJ파티' 특별공연이 펼쳐져 눈길을 끌었습니다.
The Jeju Expats Festival is back for its 11th!
We will introduce the live performance of the biggest festival for foreigners living in Jeju with Jeju residents.
The 2024 Jeju Expats Festival, the biggest festival for EXPATS, organised by Headline Jeju and sponsored by the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, was held on the evening of the 8th at the Topdong Beach Performance Hall in Jeju City.
The festival was significant in that it was the culmination of the collective efforts of the foreign community living in Jeju. The foreign participants presented various genres of music and performances.
Hosted by professional MCs Kim Ji-hwan and Choi Jeong-yoon (English), the festival began with a nanta performance by the Jeju Global Nanta Volunteer (Dream Global Arts), a multicultural family group, followed by original compositions and cover songs by foreign communities from the United States, Canada, Ireland, Australia, and Venezuela, ranging from jazz, folk, rock, pop, and classical music.
In addition, a 'Special DJ Party' was also held at the Foreigners' Flea Market and Multiculture Experience(making programs).
