the Olympics were amateur. And it was envisioned by the elite upper class. They didn't want "working athletes" (those that play and have to get paid) to "sully" their games. The rules were changed by the IOC because many developing nation-states and those of the soviet bloc were circumnavigating that rule by the 1950's. The US was one of the last nation states to allow professional athletes to compete by almost a decade and in ad-hoc fashion depending upon the sport.

Another amazing morning show! Thanks very much BLM, no other morning show compares 💕
PS: you miss things when u talk about Iran's strategy and militarily capabilities that would be impossible to be wrong about with Professor Marandi. He's incredibly kind, sociable, a veteran of the IRGC against the contras, contactable on Twitter or phone at University of Tehran. Lmk if u have trouble gettting ahold of him if u decide to try and I will ask him too.

Hey don't lie on Freedmen ,ADOS , and FBA they're not saying that she's not "black" we all got eyes. What she's not is form our lineage which is US chattel slavery. What we need to focus on is her lack of policy especially when it comes to "Black" America.

@@JoeyAfrika There are several ways to research your family history to determine if you are descended from enslaved people:
      * Genealogy and Historical Records: Utilize resources like the 1870 census (the first to enumerate enslaved individuals), Freedmen's Bureau records, church records, plantation records, military pension files, and land records.
      * DNA Testing: While DNA tests can't definitively prove ancestry to slavery, they can provide insights into your genetic origins and potential family connections.
      * Oral Histories: Interview older family members to gather information about your family's history and any stories passed down through generations.
      * Historical Societies and Genealogical Organizations: Consult local historical societies and genealogical organizations for assistance with your research.
It's important to note that due to historical factors like record destruction and inconsistent record-keeping, tracing ancestry to slavery can be challenging. However, with persistence and the right resources, it is possible to uncover your family's history.
