I love and hate the fact that hades can be easily portrayed as the villain in games and movies because he's the God of the underworld but in actual mythology he's A charitable God

Funny you should mention that because God of War probably has the kindest interpretation of Hades in modern media. In GOW 1 he gives you the best magic spell in the game and while he does fight Kratos in GOW 3, Kratos did kill Persephone and as such he was reasonably mad not to mention the effects of Pandora’s Box. He wasn’t a bad guy, he was just angry!

yeah, it so cool hearing what are myths, but retold or spun in a way that shows us the cruelty of the Gods in this Universe. Its amusing, where heroe's flaws were often hubris, the Gods in God of War are corrupted by so much more hubris than any tragic hero.

In the mythology, Thor, Loki, and a human are put through trails by the jotnar. One of Thors challenges is to finish a horn of water but he drank and drank yet could not finish it. When it was revealed the challenges were tricks, the horn drinking was actually thor drinking the ocean and was noticeably less by an amount. This is only one of the many tales of how much thor drank/ate in the mythology and he would definitely be the powerlifter chubby build over anything else

Fun fact, but there was actually a divine personification in the Greek pantheon that was called Kratos. He was the personification of Strength
He is also the son of the titan paleos. But is some he is a demi god son of zues. But there are not many stories where he is a son of zues. So he is a titan for a majority of them, especially in the story where he chains prometheus up under zues orders.

What i hope happens is Kratos dies protecting his son, then finds out Odin takes him as his own. So Kratos gets pissed AF and fights thru Hel and comes back and is rage fueled like the old days and kills them all.

people that complained about his current design are just delusional, he is still 5% ish body fat, and also has significantly more muscle mass than in previous games, but people whine cause he isn't 3%. New one is more aesthetic for sure, but those reddit posts complaining about him being "fat" while he is still absolutely shredded were upsetting.

Fact: Everyone hates the thor design due tomarvel depicting him as a bulk chad, but if you drink a quater of the ocean and eat 7 full cows AND constantly eat a drink, you going to have a gut, also the worlds strongest men also have a very large gut. Another Fact: The real mythologically afurate Kratos was called Cratos, and you can very much see the similarities, and while Kratos was strong, but wanted to destroy Olympus, Cratos actualy protected it with a strength to match his brother Hercules.

This Thor is reminiscent of modern strongmen. He's also a lazy drunkard. I think this is one of the best depictions of Thor because it blurs the line between intimidating and ridiculous. Large enough to be feared, fat enough to be ridiculed.

FOR THE LAST TIME: THE DEPICTION OF THOR IN GOW IS PRETTY MUCH ACCURATE. THE EDDAS AND SAGAS DESCRIBE THOR as red-haired, with a beard and a massive appetite. He could eat like an entire cow in one sitting.
11:58 if you equip the Saki armor and unsheathe your sword by that tree it will unlock an armor style that looks like kratos I mean the same company helped make both games so it makes sense that this Easter egg exists there’s also one for bloodborn, shadow of the Colossus and Horizon zero dawn

The problem is the damage they deal on higher difficulties,which means u are allowed to get hit max of two times (with mist armor)without new game plus

That sequence means having S€X
That is a reference to the older games (Greek Pantheon). I think specific button sequence sequence is from God of War 2. We use this sequence to play the S€X minigame with 2 women that we encounter sitting in a fountain in the first level. We get a few red orbs for completing this minigame.

Actually, if you look at the different war symbols in the game as well as the lands Tyr traveled to, the next land Atreus will travel to after Kratos's death is likely to be either Egypt or Japan. The symbols in God of War 4 show two japanese symbols at the bottom of the thing in Odin's Chamber, with the egyptian symbol at the top left. Rome is also a possibility to have a similar sort of reboot of the greek times. In that possibility, if Kratos is still alive, he might have to re-fight his father in his roman form, Jupiter.

GoW is the best game on PS2,3,4 and 5. Change my mind.

For PS2, my favorites are the Ratchet and Clank Trilogy, Shadow of Colossus and Persona 4
For PS3 it must be Heavy Rain, LittleBigPlanet 2, InFamous 2, Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, The Last of Us as well as MotorStorm
For PS4 I'd also rank The Last of Us remaster amongst the best, though that's probably cheating, so instead I'd say, Bloodborne, Persona 5 Royal and Final Fantasy VII remake
For the PS5, it doesn't really have many exclusives, so it'd probably be the same as the PS4, but I'm having a blast with both Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, and Sackboy: A Big Adventure
Not to say GoW isn't good, it's a good gaming series, especially GoW 4, and it's cinematic experience

The whole angraboda thing I think her look is very good for her character and that she has a family of other Giants that look like her and I think that's mostly the main point. For mythological inaccuracy I understand that but I also see it as mid guardians are Scandinavian the Giants are completely other different race with a insanely wide range of looks. But I do also understand that mainstream corporate culture shoves images of minorities into games movies whatever for virtue signal and so that person is actually not a character and that's real s***** but I think they did angraboda pretty well
The thing with Angrboða is that there is literally no way of knowing how to portray her properly. There is nothing in the texts that describe her appearance at all. She's only mentioned a few times, and they only mention that she's the mother of Fenrir, Jörmungandr and Hell.
