I've tried everything man, so many Reddit and Apple support posts about this with no solution that actually works for anyone, Google it you'll see it's ridiculous

I have found that lead-free and leaded solders do not mix, no matter how much flux you use. I was trying to solder pre-tinned XT30 power wires to a fc. The pre-tinning was probably lead-free, and I was using lead-tin solder. There was no way I could get it to flow. It would just ball up. Plenty of heat and plenty of flux. I wonder whether cutting the wires back a few centimeters to get away from the factory pre-tinning would be a solution.

Oh wow, I've never had that experience, I've always been able to push leaded solder into the lead free and then solder wick them both out

@@CiottiFPV Yes, wicking them both out is, I'm sure, the best approach. I used a sucker and got a decent joint.

@@segler999 careful with solder suckers, they're one of the best ways to lift pads, when you push the button and the plunger starts moving it pushes the nozzle into the pad that's hot and the adhesive below is soft which is really bad for it

What's the biggest battery a pico pavo can hold ? And what would be a decent motor upgrade? I only know about 5-inch quads. And you seem to know the most about tiny whoops. Any imput would be awesome

I've never built a Pavo Pico so I have no idea what the biggest battery it can hold would be, but in terms of a motor upgrade if you want more power the easy button is to go for an extra mm of motor height/width and/or higher kv (same strategy as 5" builds)
