  • I love riding electric scooters, so I decided to build my own... again! I took an off-the-shelf Razor dirt kick scooter and used hobby motors and electronics to make it electric. This video is part of a 3-video series where I build 3 versions of this scooter, two friction drive, and one belt drive. Enjoy!
    Scooter: Razor RDS Scooter
    Motors: Turnigy SK3 4250 350KV
    Batteries: Turnigy 4S 3000mah 20C
    ESCs: YEP ESC 60 AMP
    Belt: HTD-5M 470-5M-05 (belt www.vbeltguys....)

    Hey I'm building my own electric scooter but looking for some 100mm rubber wheels like yours but u know where I can get some what size r use I'm looking for 100mm rubber wheels

    How did you manage the tension from the belt to the wheel? Is it just the alignment or did you use a tensioner?

      The motor mounting bracket has slots so it can slide away from the wheel to tension the belt and then be fastened in place
