How it was to socialize in Norway for Maria from Colombia, any questions for Maria? Just leave it down bellow.
sounds really heartbreaking 🥺❤ thank you for being honest Maria.
I finished my Norwegian course and learned the language. But no matter how much I apply to jobs I can not even get an interview... I started to believe that it's impossible here. I got depressed and want to go back a lot. I am very surprised that she actually got a job. Kudos to her...
I hope Maria has got to know people by now. It is hard to get new friends in Norway, and worse some places than others. It is a country where people stick to the friends they got in high school, and we usually don't need that many friends. Some describe it as a coconut culture, where it is hard to get through the shell, but when you get to the inside, you have friends for life. Other places, like the US, are described as Peach cultures - it is easy to get friends, but it is hard to become close friends - there is a hard core.
So i feel i dont have any firiends in the states so I guess im already used to not connecting . I guess i will be alon in norway as well. My husband has accepted a job in oslo
