Hi quick question. I have a new garage with a living space above. The floor system is I joist 16" on center. Insullation contractor only installed 14.5" wide 6" faced insullation. Face side up towards the living space. He then installed 3" of rockwool resting on the I joist flanges. Does this meet the code for air sealing. Just found this out yesterday and looking to see what my options are.

Not likely sufficient for air sealing, Expanding air sealing foam can still be added if needed.
