S1000 aaaarrrrr!!!!
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hi mate.
Nice video. My mate has an s1000r.
Iv never tried it. But he rides it like he stole it. 😂😂
Hey. Great little bike full of torque. Very nice to play on 👍🏻
Love your video man....Love your passion....
Thankyou for the nice comments. Appreciate it
Good review Tony. You mentioned you couldn't flat foot it, what's your height and inseam mate?
Yeah couldnt quite flat foot it. 5,11 with 29 inseam
Nice view of the handlebars!
View is for a reason. Dont want to look the road in front whilst review a bike.
Ordered my new S1000R last week and i've sourced the part numbers for the genuine BMW bar end mirrors so they have been ordered too. £230 from BMW. definitely looks better than the stock mirrors and i might actually be able to see behind me being a larger man, that was my only gripe when i test rode one, the mirrors were crap haha
Great bike mate. Same problem I have been a large man. Lol. Let me know how you get on with the bar end mirrors mate. All the best with the bike
@@THETURBOTONY appreciate it, I'll keep you posted!
Thanks
Nice vid Tony. Glad you included the horn sound. (Not many reviews do.)
Have you had a chance to ride the new MT-09 SP yet? If so, is it any good? Cheers?
Not had chance to do the Mt09sp as my local Yamaha cant get stock. I am working on it 👍🏻👍🏻
Well reviewed. Cant wait for the launch here in Malaysia!
Great bike and should be well received 👍🏻
Eee by gum more northern than a Yorkshire pudding this..i had to use Google translate 😀
Proper Yorkshire 👍🏻
@THETURBOTONY great review bud👍
@@dem8667 thankyou
Hi fella, enjoyed the vid.
Did you notice much vibration in the bars around 6k-7k revs? i've heard this has been an issue in the past!
Cheers.
Hi, I was told by the Bmw dealer that vibration had been sorted, however I did notice significant vibration whilst riding on normal roads here in the UK.
Hey Tony, this and the cb1000r are on my short list for my next bike, I am currently on a modified z900rs, with clip ons exhaust etc... and want to keep the same kind of street fighter feel. Do you think the BMW is worth the price upgrade from the Honda, I feel like maybe the honda is a little overpriced but since you reviewed them both recently what are your thoughts between the two? I know the Honda has a flat spot in the mid range but I'd be putting a full system, tune and upgraded rear shock on it anyways so I should be able to eliminate the weaknesses of the CB, so I could modify the honda to way I want it for the price of the stock S1000R.
Hey K B, where you from ? Anyway you can test ride both bikes ?
In all honesty they are both great bikes and enjoyable to ride, the Honda cb1000r is a more upright position than the BMW, the S1000r is tucked over more like the RR.
The s1000r handbars is set up better aswell, clutch is easier to handle with 2 finger, Torque on the s1000r is considerably more agressive. However I found the Honda to be a more comfy ride overall.
Pros and cons to both bikes, I hate to say which I think is best because its personal opinion.
If I had money for both machines I would probably buy the Honda black edition but not a standard model.
If I couldnt get black then my money would 100% be on S1000R sport.
@@THETURBOTONY I'm in Ottawa Canada and they don't do test rides around here on new bikes unfortunately, my only hesitancy with the honda is that some of the reviews pick the power as kind of a disappointment for a 1000 cc bike especially in the midrange, but I would likely change the gearing a bit too because I prefer more off the lights acceleration and shorter street bursts as opposed to a high speed top end run anyways, especially on a naked bike. My Z900rs has been so good too that my other option is to pick up another kawasaki and be able to swap over some of my mods to the new bike and save money, but I think I want something with a little more power. There are definitely a lot of good choices out there right now in this segment.
Loving the reviews buddy I think you have found your niche 👍👍
Thanks mate.my bikes broken at moment so using other ppls bikes 😎
May I ask what is your height and inside leg measurement please I ask as I am 184.5cms tall and have a 31 inch inside leg measurement and wanted to compare giants your experience. Was the seat height the standard 830mm or was it the low 810mm or high 850mm please can you let me know thanks
Hey. The seat on this model was the standard 830 mm I believe. My inside leg is 30inch, 5,11 in height. 180.3 cms.
Plenty of room in my opinion.
@@THETURBOTONY Thank you for letting me know
what is your height bro? You flat foot it. I'm considering it, want to know if my height is enough
Its a short bike mate. Im 5,10 and flat foot both feet easy
@@THETURBOTONY thx for fast reply. I’m 5,9 so it fits me. Good luck with future videos, doing great!
How do you find it on longer rides?
Too small for longer rides for me.
25°C is hot for you? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
