wish i had to off been there, great memmories, excellent job narrating, editing and filming by my brother Dennis, watched it several times.
awesome adventure!
Excellent presentation
This is a great video. My dad uncle and I were thinking about doing this trip in a couple weeks, im just wondering how hard it would be to carry a 10 foot aluminum boat around the falls and other areas. Overall it was a great video and it looks like a lot of fun. Your video has inspired us too try it thanks
Thanks Alex, an aluminum boat may be ok as it is light on the water... but the water levels are down right now all over Newfoundland and many rivers are closed... you may want to check into that before making your plans... we need rain for a few days to make a difference...
k thanks a lot! ill let you know if we get anything
We just got a lot of rain down here in gander, and all the rivers are high here and it is part of the gander river so I think we should be good. Im just wondering if where you caught the salmon was after that big pond that is in there? and how hard would it be to carry the boat through the trail where you portaged? Thanks Alex
Glad you enjoyed it thanks... Lots of more on my channel...
Love i your vids- we normally fish where the brook flows out into the river. Had the best day in my life trouting there early in the season on a cold drizzly day in river boat. Good to see the young Smeatons out in full force and getting schooled by their uncles ;)
It was after the big pond... The portage was only a couple minutes... You should have no problem...
Thanks David, a most memorable day it was... :-)
