This man still had it into his 90’s just incredible. The world misses him! There is something so nostalgic and reminiscent whenever I listen to him, I’m not even Cuban or from that generation yet can sense it!? Just an amazing singer! I’m so happy to live in a time to listen to his recordings, and so happy that in his latter stages of life he was able to record as much as he did!! Thank god performances like this exist

Good music is a vehicle that carries emotions across, from the singer to the listener. Never mind the language barrier, I'm sitting here in the middle of the Kalahari Desert and I can't understand a single word that he says but the emotions in his voice coupled with the harmony from the instruments just hits me right straight into my heart and soul. Absolute beauty!!
It's a song about a mans love who has left him. I'd recommend Glen Millers and then Phyliss Dylons version to listen to👌

La fusión de ritmos ha sido lo que más ha destacado a Cuba por décadas, de ahí su gran arsenal melódico.
Nunca antes había escuchado el tema Perfidia montado entre tres fusiones rítmicas, estas son a mi juicio las que pude escuchar: 1) Jazz 2) Bossa-nova 3) Son Montuno adornado con los matices de percusión apenas perceptibles pero sembrados en el tema para lustrar las infinitas variantes.
Que maravillosa forma de cantar, es un ensamble unico. Los musicos me dejan gratamente emocionado. Son muy originales. Bien caballeros... muy bien.
