Don't forget to share, hit the thumbs up, and leave a comment to help radiate the algorithms with saturnine light.
For those after a 'voice only' version, it will be going out tomorrow.
Closed captioning is on if you need to see names spelled out given that my pronunciation can sometimes be spotty.

A voice only version makes sense, have you ever thought about uploading a collection of them as a podcast?

Wind Hammer bro I won’t lie. I microdosed listening to this. Checked out his book on kindle and it had bought itself. Can read the entire book for free. Aye. Drugs work. I’d say weed saved me from over stressing in general tho. Being dumb and hungry isn’t a bad vibe lol. Besides think of it like you only remember what matters.

You provide a mental gateway to the minds of old and traditions long forgotten, preserving the healthier parts of otherwise neglected and occult worldviews. Thank you dear Hermeticist.
May this undertaking of unearthing the old, satisfy your soul.

I watched Thunderbolts Project and this smaller but still awesome channel by Greg Jay and learned a little about the Saturn theory. I'm not sure, but you probably know one of those channels. So that was about 8 years ago. Well lately I been rehashing my memory about Saturn. There's something mysterious and familiar about Saturn that 😅 can't put my finger on. I think Saturn was a fair and just monarch but something happened. He was called the "best sun". Along with (if the theory is true) Mars and Venus. A brown drawf that came into the system of our current Sun. What were they saying? Something like 8 to 10 thousand years ago. Jupiter came in for short time then they were both sent out to their current remote orbits

I mean the only logical explanation about Saturn is that is was definitely a lot closer to our planet along with most of our solar system. They were all lined up like beads on a string. Saturn at that time was probably visually larger holding I guess a charge making it in the category of a small star. Red or brown drawf. Something about Saturn reacting when other celestial bodies get close to the small star and even other planets electrical "storms" would occur. Makes sense when you think hard about it. The largest planet along the "gravitational" alignment was apparently at the time was Saturn according to eyewitness all over the world. Something came through and disrupted our former Sun Saturn. Red and brown drawfs are everywhere in the galaxy and the infrared light that they radiate is perfect for plants and many animals. Different cultures all over the world carry the memory and trauma of when Saturn either had just made the planet Venus (The giant comet) Or Venus came across our system with our current yellow sun. The whole story sounds really feasible in my opinion. I think a lot of people have a connection with planetary objects more than others. Yeah Mars and Venus and then Saturn was according to historical accounts, were always in our northern hemisphere at the north pole. That's why the ancient stories are so detailed and vivid. It was a regular occurrence for thousands of years. Golden Age. Then along comes Venus. A comet so large and unforgettable. I think Venus and Mars would be pulled and pushed towards each other and even close to our planet. When they get close enormous bolts of electricity are exchanged causing all kinds of storms. All this was happening where the north star is. Mars was the closest to us. And then the larger and younger planet Venus. And after Venus was Saturn. Enormous and so close to our planet that earth was probably created by Saturn. It would (according to a couple of theories) First of all. And it makes sense, when two or more celestial bodies near each othernan electric exchange takes place. Sometimes probably more violent than other times. I could go on and on.
Just wanted to say that I just came across your channel yesterday and I think it's awesome

Sublime work. Saturn is also the ruler of discipline and of work ethic, thus once one has aligned themselves properly to it one can more swiflty ascend atop Jacob's Ladder and reach the planets beyond , the planets of subtlety like Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. These planets have a greater influence in the 21st century than they have had before as this is an era of sublte interpretation and of keen observation.

Like our past deeds, we recognize the lifeless and dead most distinctly in it's parts and mechanic effects - hence the more we are mortified ourselves - reminiscing upon a life, past in total seclusion - the more familiar and intimate all matter becomes to us.
It is in sleep - and indeed, dwelling under open sky - as shepherds or vagabonds - that we are renewed from such persistent, consuming vigilance and wear.
The celestial bodies - moving in a sublime balance to another - are an image of man as it was conceived in the beginning and as it will be sealed in the end.
Saturn shrouds that image in it's sum totality - confronts us silently with it's magnificent outline in each passing generation - and sternly shall reap in shrouded silence of all senses what we have sown in our decomposition - to fertilize celestial trajectories with seeds of ill and benevolence.

Nigromancia, which is a latin/spanish corruption of the Greek necromanteia.

Hey Saroth, glad you enjoyed it! I use Movie Studio 16 which is the new form of Sony Vegas (though I think they're on to #17 now and I haven't bothered upgrading because I don't shoot in 3d, 4k, or whatever other things they've added). It's quite easy to use but it does crash fairly often which is really frustrating (I think I dealt with like 500 crashes making this). I'd get Adobe Premiere if I could but with the whole subscription thing its really prohibitively expensive. That subscription alone would probably cost more per month than this channel ever potentially rakes in. I'd have to consider making 5 vids a week to justify it to myself and I just can't see that happening any time in the immediate future.

I love the caveats in these grimoires ("Even though this seems like you're worshipping a pagan god here..."). More interesting to me is how the classical gods managed to also infiltrate Renaissance art (Chigi's chapel in Rome, with the planetary "spirits" depicted around the big-G God, or Tempio Maletestiano... the former of which, much like the invocations in the Picatrix, has the gods paired with angels, as if the presence of the angels were a mitigating force somehow) and seemed to regain some of their "old" meanings vs. the magical meanings in Picatrix, etc.
And I still think Chico Marx would've made a swell Ficino in the biopic.

    • @peteprochilo
      @peteprochilo 4 года назад

Adding: Also interesting to consider that Hermetic stuff and Neoplatonism were distinct traditions that somehow got (and remain?) mashed up.
Great quote from Ficino at 28:39. Was this introduction of "spiritus" a Ficino innovation...? Seem to think D.P. Walker wrote about this...
