Anyone who wouldnt want us to trade for giannis is crazy to me. Getting the opportunity to trade for a top 3 player in basketball is insanely rare. Any giannis trade would have to include sengun I would think because the 2 of there games don't coexist. The problem with trading for giannis is he'd be leaving the bucks to try and win a championship somewhere else that gives him a better shot. I doubt that is houston as currently constructed however with the team option on FVV contract this offseason I could see houston declining his option and freeing up a max slot to utilize in free agency. Maybe someone like Jimmy Butler alongside Giannis is enough for giannis to see houston as a legit contender. I think that idea is a no brainer, it costs zero assets to sign jimmy and if it gets you giannis you do the deal. Whoever is left over of the young core from the giannis trade along with jimmy would be a really great team and surefire contender. Just an idea lmk your thoughts rockets fans I'm sure the idea of trading Sengun will anger some but I just don't see a scenario where a giannis trade makes sense without him.

These guy are very young and the Rockets' fans are not being patience. Today's NBA is drafting way younger that ever before. The G league is a great tool. I think Cam could make JG expendable if he matures. I also think the Rockets are thinking this possibility. That is why they extended JG only 3 years and why Cam is in the G league. Learning under Udoka and FVV (D minded head coach and PG) while playing with Amen and Tari off the bench could not be a better situation for Reed's D abilities. I am more interested in watching his D develop than his O and playmaking. I think his D abilities will slow the game down for him then the other two will follow. BTW, I was not calling anyone dumb...I meant it would be a dumb move and I don't see Tilman or Stone doing anything but playing the card they now hold. They keep saying they love the players and coach they have. I think they mean it and I agree 100%. Plus Stone worked very hard through his trades to not only get these players, but to build future draft picks down the road so they can have more young talent coming in as they lose some of the core 7 to free agency. Tilman or Stone have both talked about building and investing into sustainability. Tilman has backed up his talk with investing in one of the best practice facilities in the NBA and help making the Vipers one of the best in the G league. They are building a foundation and developing from within...kind of like the Astros did under Luhnow.
