Besides the shooting obviously we really need a backup big. It’s clear Steven Adams is near the end of his rope due to the surgeries and age. But it’s going to be hard to trade for a center due to either teams not wanting to trade their backups or the asking price for bigs like Jonas is going to go way up. If the Rockets can’t find a backup during the season they going to have to get a big in the draft next year
This isn't calling out. Just explaining how this team can improve. Jalen's midrange shooting is terrible. It's not debatable. His 3 point shooting is well below league average, too. Next year he'll be making a lot of money. He's gotta be better for the Rockets ceiling to go up
You are correct about Jalen he need to improve his efficiency... What about Sengun efficiency inside the paint. He is terrible, shooting 46% from the field, when most of his shots come from the paint. As a center he has a below average fg% and that is unacceptable... If Sengun keeps this up, they need to start Amen at Center because he shooting 54% and they both shoot from the same area on the court.
Lol JG averages 20 points on 21 shots lol they are absolutely correct. The Rockets will not take the next step until Jalen Green takes the next step. What is he better at in year 4 compared to year 1? I'll wait
@djmill8000 Sengun has been almost as bad. Sengun can't shoot past 5ft.....he clogs the paint. Remember last year when he got hurt......how good Jalen Green was? That wasn't an accident. He clogs the paint which throws JG game off. I would package sengun with cam Whitmore and Jabari Smith and try to get Giannis
Jabari Smith should be benched for Tari Eason,Jalen Green would be better if Sengun wasnt there,i remember how good he was when sengun got hurt. Sengun has little to no offensive skill, hes a good passer but thats it.
@CAdams93 He can shoot? Not to my eye.....that shot put shot he uses from 12 feet away looks goofy and rarely goes in. He can't shoot outside 5ft. The stats suggest his D is greatly improved. But unless he develops that 3 then he's useless on offense
@CAdams93 True, but not enough to build a team around. He can't be a teams best player. Without that 3 ball or at least a midrange shot he's just a clog that hampers Greens abilities
Jabari's shooting hurts but Jalen's shooting 39%. Sengun's shooting is way down & not efficient. VanVleet's shooting's been bad overall. Plenty of blame to go around on offense
To be fair, the Cowboys have looked awful with Dak. The final score was 34-10. The Texans offense is an issue but they're defense has been great against really good QB's. Shut down Josh Allen. 5 INT's vs. Goff

Yes, we touched on that last week. Thx for the take
The Texans just have a bit of a confidence problem. CJ despite being a great qb has a pack of confidence. The kid will do just fine
Thx for the take
The fact yall called out Jalen is insane …

@@RobertLandHoustonSportsTalk naw they whole team has to be better , nobody is a good shooter ,

Segun has offensive skills . He can post , shoot and pass . His problem is he's too slow on defense

@dek779 he has a lot more skill than a lot of big men in the league

@@dek779 Green also jacks up a lot of shots. He's too inconsistent.
Jabari is the reason the offense is horrible
The garbage sets are the reason. The few games we used good actions instead of PnR and iso it looked great. Stop blaming one guy.
You are correct. Tari should be starting over Jabari
Jabari's shooting hurts but Jalen's shooting 39%. Sengun's shooting is way down & not efficient. VanVleet's shooting's been bad overall. Plenty of blame to go around on offense
Texans did not look good against the cowboys. The Texans benefited from Dak Prescott not playing.
