The motor on the back driver side caught fire on my 1.8 tornado. I decided to buy the 1.5 marauder w auger. Any opinions? Anyone else who switched from chain to auger? I am staying western because of how well the tornado worked. I call it the fat man spreader, no tarps, open, fill, close, and push the button. Driving to Storks from Cleveland, best prices around!
Does these auger units empty the hopper like a conveyor by always pulling material from the front? Not the best design for the many solo operators who need to full salt bins easily during the week. Thanks for posting, great run-through

Great looking forward to setting you up. We do recommend the accessories, Strobes and work lights , They do not come with straps either.
Turn the stupid music off i can't hear him.

Great Question, No the Auger spreader take the load down evenly but the spacing of the ribs, That is a benefit over the chain for sure,
Where is the how to install the spinner?
Does the spinner swing away or it needs to be removed to fill salt bins
Unfortunately on the poly unit you have to take it off, It will swing on the pin but not enough to empty it.
