- Many years after the Ghostbusters were forced to shut down after all of the hard-fought battles won, It all appears to be for nothing as humanity unknowingly invites the presence of evil into their lives through the popularization of spooks, goblins and spirits. In the absence of the founding fathers, an unlikely hero with ties to Egon Spengler is forced to step up and take matters into his own hands when his friend is possessed by a well-known former enemy of the Ghostbusting squad that’s attempting settle an old score.
This entire production was done in-house by @EZImaginations and @MatthewScarboro_VFX . We had ZERO budget on this project and worked on it off and on in our free time to try and give the GB community and the indie film community a great fan-film with all of the love and excitement that we received from the original franchise. Every 3D model/environment was created in #videocopilot 's #element3d plugin in an attempt to show Indie filmmakers that even on a nothing/low budget film you can use affordable tools to bring your vision/universe to life!

Nice references to other cultual icons like Batman and Doc Brown's Delorean. Surprise Cameo by an original Ghost Buster -- was a deepfake?! Great story with ironic twists hard to believe that it's NOT from Toronto or Hollywood. Mostly believable acting. Good director and editing. Awesome VFX, special fly-wire rigging and choreography, green screen technology, composite shots, and music. Principal photography in 2017 and post production completed in 2023 -- very reasonable considering the amount of work that went into this film. Very impressive it was made in North and South Carolina, but you made me believe it was NYC! A GREAT film that deserves many awards!
Wow, thank you so much for that. Most people would not believe the amount of work that went into the production with zero budget and one person doing all of the post production work. We wanted to put several nostalgic Easter eggs throughout, even some things people didn't notice. The Biff Tannen hotel LED lights are on one of the buildings in the city, a Powerline resorts sign (recognizing "A Goofy Movie"), "The Monster Squad" playing on the TV at the bar, and several other things sprinkled throughout. We thought it would be fun to see what people would pick up on. There were actually two cameo appearances from the original cast 😉. Again, thank you so much for your kind words! Thank you for the that! Glad that you enjoyed it as A LOT of work went into this. Given that this film was done entirely by one man in all post production aspects down to the last detail, It's unlikely there will be a part 2 given that this was really a proof of concept to show EZImaginations VFX and production capabilities as well as to show indie filmmakers that even with a limited budget (this was less than $500 budget) and with affordable software/many free online services that everyone has access to that almost anything can be accomplished. This proof of concept was really meant to back up our capabilities for several future full feature film productions that we have in the works that do have a high budget that need funding.
