Even with the lightsaber, it's possible. Already been said before, but shaped blades are possible, if extremely rare. The darksaber is one such example (if not the only one). It has more of an association with the Mandalorians by now than it does with the Jedi, but I think it's important to acknowledge that it was used *by* a Jedi, meaning shaped blades weren't nonexistent in the Jedi Order, leaving room for other shaped blades.

This is such a powerful scene, the idea of this padawan after Order 66 embracing the force again…because she can’t stand by and see innocent people suffer when she had the power to do something is just fantastic especially with the music and theway she announces “I am a Jedi”

It wasn’t a sentinel who ultimately brought him down, it was a counselor who convinced Vader to throw him into the death star’s reactor shaft. But even then, it took his own granddaughter Rey to ultimately destroy Palpatine for good.
I don't think she was a Padawan, exactly... For one, the Jedi had a yellow lightsaber, yellow sabers are very exclusive lightsabers, reserved only for the Jedi Temple Guards. It could be that she was one.

its funny because I've always imagined what lightsaber I'd like to have if I were in star wars, and long before this came out I imagined a lightsaber with a similar blade shape to this one (or like the darksaber or a traditional sword blade) with a yellow/golden/orangish blade color. It’s a classic samurai film technique. You cut to black at the climax of the standoff, then show the aftermath. It creates more tension and uncertainty towards the outcome.
Raphtalia ascended from slavery to this jedi, thanks to Naofumi Or maybe Officer Junsar (Pokémon Sun and Moon) trained to be a jedi. Or Shino Madarame finally unlocked her full potential.
This scene alone already gave me emotions that none of the new SW movies did. They need to be remade under a Japanese director free from all the PC bullshit

Not to mention that Galen can project Force Lightning while dashing, use Force Choke, Force Push, Sith Assassin Lightsaber Lightning Strikes and Force Repulse. Best case scenario for F, a draw. Worst ase scenario, her being fried by Starkiller’s lightning. Not to mention F is just a Padawan while Galen is Vader’s secret apprentice. Even Darth Sidious saw him as both rival and potential vessel.

Galen then picks the Inquisitor's already bled Kyber crystal and warns F that he'll kill her if they meet again. F, in turn, says through the Force that he'll become a Jedi someday. Then Galen makes his own lightsaber and presents it to Vader. Vader, oblivious of what happened, knights him as his Sith Apprentice.
I gave up on this episode and the whole Star Wars Visions thing after seeing high heels in this project AGAIN but I may need to give it a second shot. (The high heels are still really dumb though.)
They enhance her speed making her edged type blade more affective. Jedi sentinels often ys technology to enhance their force abilities unlike most other Jedi.
