Eric !! Thank you for all you do for us . That was a very nice presentation of Manito percussion behind the scene , i enjoy everything on it . God bless you and your family. Thank you ,saludos hermano.
It was wonderful meeting you and drumming together, Eric Perez! I look forward to doing it again soon. Manito’s drums inspire me every time I play them. I’m so happy that you got to experience them first hand and meet the master builder himself, Ryan “Manito” Wendel. Be well! Kane
Eric I live in Venice, Fl which is the adjacent state to Georgia however, it is a 7 hour drive from here. Thank you for the video because I also wanted to visit Manito Percussion but it was difficult. Thank you for the visuals!
Are you going to soon make your videos with ManitoPercussion congas? Go for the traditional rims/ traditional crowns, it leaves more spare skin after replacing the skins and I think it acts as nice handle whenever tilting the drum.
min 10:43 !! le llegaste a lo más profundo con esa tremenda manana y bomba! aguaaaa eric. Increible también el trabajo que hace Manito Percussion!! un abrazo, bless!!
Nice!... Priceless bro!! many blessing!!!. Thank you for putting up these videos, dude you have made me a better player and made my LP performer conga set sound so much better because of Manito Percussion. can't stress it enough THANK YOU! , God Bless!!.. You Got To Love It... LOL
Good to see the vlog. Hey... Percussionist Frankie Quinones is one of my child friend and teacher. We grew up in the church playing together. Small world. 🙏🙏🙏
First you introduced me to MOPERC Conga Drums and now, I must patronize Messeur Michel Oullet . . . and now this, Manito Percussion and his exquisite sounding 9.25" Requinto One Piece Oak Conga Shell. I will also be doing business with Mr. Ryan Wendel. Damn you, Perez. Uncle Le😎
Would love to go there! Also want to meet you man! Ever coming to Utah? Also hearing deep house lounge in your video starting music not kidding! Love this looks like a you had a wonderful time!
Eric, First and foremost, Thank you so much for sharing all your knowledge with us. I was wondering if you could share a little knowledge on your research of Manito skins. In particular the different hides, thickness and comparisons of each. I have LP congas and I’m thinking of changing the heads. I noticed on the congas you have, that your using different colors. Are they the same type hide? Which hide did you buy? Which thickness did you end up using? Any and all info is greatly appreciated. Jesse Zaragoza, L.A. Rican
Appreciate it!!! I normally use all dark Steer skin... just gives off a warmer tone.... and I use 2mm+ extra thick on my congas... the thicker the hide, the more dense the tone is... so less resonance. Really helps with over tones
I've heard cats play Matadors and they sounded incredible. Anga Diaz could play a shoe box and sound killer! Don't buy all the hype of the drum makers!!! I play Palladiums and I have no complaints. However, it's 90% the player.
at 10:45 the dude in the background getting caught up and smothered in the sauce says it all. BTW, I just ordered 4 heads from Manito and finally received my Shekere necklace from Mobeta.
Cool ,very cool cuz you could probably ask 75% of players how their drums were made or where they were made and they would be dumbfounded.thanks again.... return home safely...TEACHER
