I love how you can compare this to earlier battles where Obi-Wan is calling the shots and him and Anakin are more equals. In this not only is Obi-Wan more serious after years of war breaking him but he also listens to Anakin knowing that his crazy plans almost always work. Also Anakin finishing his battle without suffering a scratch while Obi-Wan is having to take cover shows just how much more powerful Anakin has grown over his master. I love this as it shows Anakin and Obi-Wan. How they have evolved and how their personalities work and contrast. It’s such a shame how it would all end.
Yooo!!! Anakin Skywalker redefined what it meant to be The Chosen One in this moment. Standing tall proud and strong. Confident & capable. There was no doubt, he knew they’d win. It was only a matter of how.. What I love most about this moment, as Aniken has elevated to a new level of height and power, confidence and wheel. He’s different and he doesn’t try to hide it, he doesn’t try to pretend to be like everyone else he owns who he is and he stands out even more as a result. It’s like he’s the beacon not of hope but of resolution. And he looks damn good doin it too. With his own distinct style of Badassary.

Don't forget droids can't really aim well and the stormtroopers inherented bad aim from the drones They only hit if the director for the episode decides to kill someone off Or to give an injury to a character just to make the story longer or tragic
But it sets up bad president. If your opponents know that you won't even bother trying to prevent you adhere to the conventions and rules, they'll stop taking your surrender pleas seriously. And that would endanger more lives.
Droids that have also displayed forms of sentience. And there in lies the problem, to disregard the sentience that the body carries because of the form of the body is a form of racism. TCW has gone out of their way to give the droids personality and something resembling emotions. It's a big issue in the star wars franchise, enslaving sentient beings and disregarding them because they're not organic. (P.s. people have used a similar argument to justify slavery in our history as well!)
See, the problem is that the droids do appear to have some form of sentience. That is why it becomes a problem. They are droids. They are programmed. And yet they seem to have sentience, so is it actually messed up or not?
I like how everyone is saying Obi-Wan just let/watched Anakin commit a war crime by faking a surrender, even though Obi-Wan did that exact same thing in his literal first appearance in The Clone Wars animated movie. Which in-itself was the beginning of the animated Clone Wars as we know it.
