It took my Dad, 20 years ago this coming November... in just 3 months of diagnosis. Crazily, it took my Father-in-Law, just 4 months after he diagnosed (a few years later). I remember later, when Ted Kennedy was diagnosed I was amazed at how much longer he lived than my father. I do hope she is doing OK. I'm so sorry she and her family are going through this.
