hi dan, just a few things that might be useful to think about as well are the odd safety stuff like neck braces and gloves, but more importantly is the licenses and that, think a ACU season license is like £70 but not sure, and admissions and that.
Great video! I’ve been on the fence about wanting to try grass track for years but the bit the always stops me is the bike. I would love a more in depth look at what the options are and then what goes into maintaining that. I’ve heard stories about people servicing their lay down 250s every 3 meetings and I’ve heard some run one for a whole season between services. The mx engine route hasn’t ever really interested me and and the way you have to ride a GT140 is so different to the other solo classes it puts me off too but maybe a full breakdown on how much more expensive a 250/350 would be to run might make it make more interesting to me haha! But again great video!
Absolutely! I myself run an MX engined bike but will be moving onto laydowns later on in the season. I already have a bit of information on the cost of running laydowns so I can make a video soon hopefully on the cost of those bikes and the different engine choices.
Nice vid mate!
