Would much rather see this with fees, shipping and taxes included. Willing to bet if you include them you lost money on your first card instead of making a dollar.
I agree. Love the concept, but feel like a lot of critical information is missing. Looks like Whatnot charges around 10% or more in selling fees. Also, like Ebay, lower cost items get hit harder due to the $0.30 processing fee. He likely got around $1.50 for the $2 card. Also, he seems to be ignoring sales tax from purchases he is making. No hate, just think transparency is important because while I think this is possible it is also a lot of work if truly sticking to the $1 to $1k concept.
You provide some very good information on selling types of cards and the alternate whatnot site. It's also good you charge the Buyer the shipping fee. Also good for including your purchase and sell price. For the new sellers who might not know all the other fees, you might also want to possibly include the Ebay and whatnot fees, taxes, listing fee, etc. Nice video.
I live in Kentucky too so I love going to that shop. Highly suggest search and rescue for individual cards, and Baseball card warehouse for packs and boxes.
I like the longer episodes. The shorts are a bit too short for me as I need the education on how you are doing this stuff and what you are considering. Thanks for the great content!
Indiana is gorgeous. We found lots of geodes, crystals and fossils. You can tell that it was once under water by what you find there. I found sea fossils like coral, invertebrates and all kinds of things that are in the sea. My daughter found what I and my wife believe to be a fossilized snake head. Indiana is a gorgeous place but I will never want to go back there for work. It's pretty dangerous.
@@Jfarrior50 we couldn't really venture too far. We had to keep it near Bedford and Mitchell because thats where I was working. We were honestly scared for our safety. I was even scared for the safety of my dog bc of what the locals told me they do to APBTs out there. People I encountere in Indiana didn't seem to like me or my daughter very much. They were okay with my wife. She looks more like them. I had an offer to stay at that job for 8 more months. I kept it at the 5 weeks I obligated myself to and we took our tails home😆
These “make money” type videos are silly for business people to watch. That’s all the sports card influencer dudes want to talk about are possible revenues! 🙃
hey man what was the first store you went to bc I was watching and I was like oh I know roadshow but I didn't recognize the first store, I'm from Kentucky btw
Ngl man. I was a whatnot streamer for awhile and the way you're doing this without including shipping fees or commissions is just not realistic at all. Even on $1 purchases you're surely paying additional fees of $3-4 on shipping. So you're already -$4 off the bat, then you sold the card for $2 but after whatnot fees you basically sold the card for $1. So you were honestly -$2 off the rip 😂 Just do the challenge honestly off the rip
You didn't factor in the fuel cost of driving to those different locations, nor the hourly-rate due to the time it took to source those cards. As a small business owner for decades, you must factor those into your margins.
Thank you guys so much for watching and commenting!! For a FREE $10 in Credits on Whatnot sign up with this link!

I got a million cards and know nothing about em 😂
Cool series. Question are there no fees in shipping, sales tax?
The buyers on what not pay for that so that one dollar card probably costed the buyer like 5
