David Gilmour isn't the flashiest guitarist... he's just the most tasteful and the best.

The beauty of the Mandelbrot set with the beauty of David Gilmour's guitar playing.. what an excellent combination.
*Check out the Documentary this is from if you haven't already* : The Colors Of Infinity; Gilmore does the soundtrack, Mandelbrot brings the Math, and Arthur C. Clark Hosts. So ahead of it's time that we are seeing the results now of ideas that were presented in 1993.
Long time Floyd fan and Gilmour and Waters. I have never heard of this session.

We met David back in 1977 and hung with Pink Floyd for a month!!! What an honor seeing them from a more down- to-earth perspective!! What sublime, iconic artists........will always cherish the memories!!!

I have Howe and Hackett up there with Gilmour and Hendrix. Latimer and Fripp would lead the rest of them on your list. A lot of amazing guitarists over six decades.
Just awesome. Beautiful music. David Gilmour has the best economy and phrasing of all time. Every note is carefully placed and articulated.
I remember watching the Fractal documentary on PBS and loving that Arthur C. Clarke and Gilmour were both part of it. Great to find the soundtrack here.
When you've got work to do, this is a darn good companion!

@@ivannikolic147 It's not David Gilmour, it's pink floyd, these are tracks called big spliff, they're outtakes of Division Bell, it was always misinterpreted, saying it's David alone.
