I think artist that are trying out This style still have occasional bars that are still a little too corny, but it would be cool to see some modern artist master the art of boom bap rhymes without corny bars, It seems to be really difficult to produce nostalgic boom bap songs nowadays without sounding like your just trying too hard to mimic the style which simply not true, it’s just really difficult to not come across that way considering it’s been 25-30ish years since the legends put out the illest boom bap and since ppl stopped doing this style coming back into it always sounds cheesy to me
