My personal favorite tip is a simple 5 step instruction: 1.) Get out there. 2.) Yeet a lot, and I mean A LOT of cheap ships. 3.) Analyse your losses. 4.) Eliminate mistakes. 5.) Repeat. If you have issues analysing your fights correctly, record them with any software that works for your devics and ask for help in alliance, help chat, etc.
I'd add yeet expensive ships to this. Test your limits, and get comfortable with loss. I don't think yeeting cheap ships accomplishes the second part of that.
Nice. Thanks Brandon. And for those of you who believe this sort of video isn't necessary (apart from for total newbies) well... I guess you've never seen someone like me try to PvP! Been playing Echoes since launch and can count my PvP kills on the fingers of one hand. My PvP losses would take a few hands. 😆 I don't think I'm unique, looking at a few corp mates I know well. So yeah, more like this please 🙏
Haha, those pfcs are definitely crucial. Being able to know exactly what you’re running with before you undock gives you that confidence to go all in when you’re in space
Great tips! I always set my mods up in the same arrangement on every ship if I can. And checking your mods before you undock is sooo important. I forgot to do that today and ended up putting a medium mwd on a geddon LOL
What does the auto lock back actually do? From a standard view its to expect that in a pve scenario when rats lock u u start locking them bk but ive tested this and it did nothing O.o. thanks 😉
It’s actually when they start to apply damage, not when they lock, which might explain why it doesn’t seem to do anything for you. It also targets drones/fighters separately so it can clutter up your targeting if you’re not careful… Hope that helps!
True. My point was more that I want ppl to be aware of their surroundings and recognize if there seem to be fewer anoms than normal, which is more common in lower security systems bc of the spawn rates, but you are right that it’s not directly related. Appreciate the clarification
Best thing to test your pvp and play with corp mates stopping after shields or armor depending on ship, this way you pvp without the risk and learn cheaply from mistakes
Hey Brandon - great content. Just started following your channel, but have learned a lot already. Wanted to give you kudos for the content.
Appreciate it! Glad to have you along for the ride o7

Yep, nothing like just losing ships to learn

You got it bud! Hoping to help get you some more kill marks (as long as I’m not one of them😂)
Joining players who pvp often will help you. Look into SMT
Lets go brandon! My brother and I call this pfc, pre flight check!

Oof, yeah you’re not going anywhere with that fit lol. It’s crazy too how often my rigs get deactivated for some reason…
Discord link is invalid
The best tip for me is to get used to how the ship runs. in my opinion different ships hve different play styles even if they are in the same class
For sure. I fight very differently in my arby vs the belli, so knowing the ins and outs of flying those ships and play styles is critical
exactly! good video o7

@@killmarkcollectors8440 it helped a lot, thank you!😁
I never lost my arbutraitor3 till today I scout a hurrican in room 2 of scout. So i want in and got 3 shoot lol
Oof. That’s a rough scout lol
The number of anoms in null has nothing to do with the security level. It’s number of gates + pirate detection array.

Absolutely! I love to see ppl practicing with Corp mates to test stuff out and just get familiar with the rush lol
@@killmarkcollectors8440 just make sure you let your logi win so we keep you alive!!😂😂🙋♂️
@@malelpn37 😂😂😂 duly noted
Lol I'd love to 1v1 with you, but it wouldn't be a fair fight. The arbitrator co melts too fast and I can't tackle enough to force the fight usually.
Haha, i love the arby. Hit me up in discord if you wanna do an arby vs arby fight to get some practice. We can just go to hull as well
@@killmarkcollectors8440 I can swap ot to a vexor, never been much for an arbitrator but that would definitely be fun
@@killmarkcollectors8440 also whats your discord name? I'll dm you
You only need ONE tip. Have 5-7 friends help you. That's the only tip you need other than SPEND REAL MONEY in eve echoes.
