Undertook many inspections in the locations the teams visit, agree with Laura and Siddy. South Kentish Town was one my least favourite to visit (alone!). To my mind went beyond the purely atmospheric (also creepy was City Road). South Kentish Town had a unique “presence” and sense of foreboding, was always pleased to get out of there!

Thank you, thank you and thank you again for creating and sharing these videos on RUclips, I have many more of your videos to watch, many happy hours and the opportunity to learn. A grateful Londoner.

This station has always fascinated me having read the Betjeman story many years ago. The passenger alights from the train, not paying attention as he assumes it's his stop, and then realises he is at South Kentish Town, cannot get out at street level and is stranded.
Thanks to everyone who arranged this visit so that we can all see what amazing features remain hidden there. Great job with the filming in those conditions.

If you're going to only do actual and not zoom vids, please could we have them using this m o.
None of you is actor by profession so pretending to be peering round that corner for the first time in your life, despite valiant effort to act, wouldn't capture the spark of humanity which are flying off you all without you being aware, straight through the lens and into we the audience's eager brains.
I know that I'm banging on a bit but we are _there_ with you as much as ever we could be. It's stratospherically higher up the spine tingle tower of satisfaction than anything I've seen you do.

@Alex Grundon Alex I LOVED it and I bet you do.
Actually there is a a tunnel at Kingscross station that used to drop down from Yorkway to the widened lines to take BR trains to Moorgate, it closed in 1976 bu5 the tunnel is still there.
The tunnel splits and a line goes down to join the circle line just west of KX.
it would be beyond fascinating for the team to investigate this
Apparently it fell into disuse shortly after opening in 1968.

    • @JP_TaVeryMuch

And the other turn left/ turn right tunnels from the Circle line up north, Thameslink to mainline and the link between the Piccadilly and Northern for instance apparently for the moving in of new stock.
Then there's the ones Met/Circ to mainline at L'pool street and so forth.
