- O7 Cmdrs. Whilst doing some PVE bounty hunting I'm interdicted by a pair of gankers showing off their new builds. Can a 800mj Bi Weave Mamba hold up against the might of a Frag Cutter and Frag Beluga?

It took me a few weeks to get the music right so I'm grateful you enjoyed it like me.
As for the flying, well the Mamba lends itself well to that style. It's such a flexible ship and I'm liking more and more each time I use it.

Finally got the TV out of storage and took a break from unpacking, shopping for replacements and general catching up with the mrs! Absolute master class in 2v1 special awareness vs big ships and all round ship management! Gg on all aspects of this fight! Looking forward to getting back online soon o7

28:38 "Let's take out his power plant." (Guardian Hybrid Power Plant) It's probably nothing, but 48 secs of intense fire didn't seem to hurt the GHPP even 1%. Could be a bug, but like I said, prob nothing, rigorous testing would be needed to confirm, like anything else in this sim/game. o7 👍
Yeah I noticed that too. I bet it had to do with shot placement. If I had been directly above the power plant, it would've taken damage.

That beluga is no slouch lol
To be clear, I love the Shielded Power Plant Modification, use it on almost everything, plus the Stripped Down Secondary Effect, to bring the mass back down somewhat.
But since I've never spent more than five seconds (in the last seven years) even thinking about grinding for Guardian ANYTHING, I admit my own lack of knowledge about Guardian stuff. Don't even know if these modules can even be modded through ordinary Engineer methods.
It's possible that if damage could have been sustained another thirty seconds or so, 1% damage would have displayed, instantly settling the question.

Gg go, unfortunately my target system that day was on the fritz, it was acting like i had beams and i had frags. Couldnt target properly. Got so frustrated trying to get it to act properly. Was annoyed af
GG Chris. To be honest, I think your gimbals couldn't keep up with the relative speed differences between our ships.
Frags have a very low shot speed, resulting in their reticle being sensitive to ship speed and direction (vector). The faster the opponent, the more the reticle moves.
You must try to match his vector and/or get in much closer.
@@Cmdr_GO13BT possible, it was getting annoying as hell though
@@chriswalker608 Yeah it would've been frustrating. Just try to 'move' the reticle closer to the target rather than simply following it with the nose of the ship.

My beluga bus is a fun ship to fly in combat just saying.
I'm sure it is Snowghost. I'm sure the outcome would have been different if I was using a build requiring close quarters combat.

are you flying with controller ? and when yes how are you flying like this when i turn of assist i turn into a floating target xD
@@Slowporke7474 Yes I'm using a PS4 controller with Sony back button attachment.
All I'm doing is boosting and using a combination of thrusters (up, down, left and right), pitch, roll and yaw. I essentially sidestep out of the way from their incoming shots.
Timing your boost and knowing which way to push your ship in relation to your enemy is the key here.
In this fight, the above technique, the Mamba's speed advantage, and slow shot speed of the frags, dictated the outcome.
