Did it make it to where when you go to load a game if was just link on the screen?
I'm trying to figure out if it's just the battery or bit rot.

You should get the gray cartridge with Link's Awakening. It's the original game.

Is basically the same, the only difference I think is that the black version comes with an extra dungeon
