Bram the magician of the piano
I was lucky enough to get my first taste of Bram's genius playing when I went to a steakhouse in KC. Now I won't go there unless he's playing. Their steaks are great too, but mine gets cold because I can't lift my jaw off the floor. His playing is mesmerizing. He's a one of a kind. I'm so glad I found this video and thank you for doing it!

Begin jaren '90 nam mijn klasgenoot (we waren vroege tieners) zijn oudere broer mee naar ons huis om een potje piano te spelen. Dat was Bram Wijnands. Hij maakte diepe indruk op me en ging helemaal los op onze oude Steinway. Mijn vader stond er op dat ik ook iets speelde, idioot natuurlijk, maar ja, zo ging dat vroeger. Vele jaren later mocht ik ook een tournee doen met Mike als cellist. Ook hij maakte diepe indruk op me. Wat een fenomenale pianisten allebei! Geweldig!

Thank you for this very interesting program. For a while I have been enjoy Bram’s RUclips shares. I’m very interested as a jazz piano player and lover of stride and swing what he was talking about. Some details (about left hand secrets) were pure gold for me. Ina country actually nobody is playing this stride and swing style. My informations I have mostly from you tube. If there is any possibility to ask or listen to his explanations I definitely would enjoy it. (About hand size, left hand function of thumb, pinky, practice patterns etc.)
