Bram is one of, if not the most swinging stride player out there, totally underrated, People don't realize how hard it is to authentically swing on solo piano. Looks like he's invented some novel left hand techniques aswell.
Awesome pianoplayer, can't understand why since 2010 only 6 thumbs up and 920 views. That should be hundreds of thousands! Bram is much too modest . He should be on all great jazz festivals.
Bram, this is AMAZING!!! This is so authentic sounding, not a Tatum impersonation or anything, just a purist stride piano version of a great tune! I might try to transcribe this too, the audio is very good for such an old video!
