Hello "Captain Leon's Boating and More"! Thank you for showing us such a wonderful video! I feel so happy! I'm looking forward to your next work! Have a nice day!
My cap is nasty yellow and looks like dry rotting at 3 years old. This is just the ticket! Looking at doing the same for my horn grill too. You that man Captain Leon.
Your ebay link doesnt work anymore and the only option is Yamaha part# F2J-U783E-20-00. Do you have an updated link to the part like the one you originally had posted here?
Hey Cap’t Leon, thanks for all your videos. I just purchased a 195s and it’s my first boat. Do you have any recommendations for cleaning. Your boat looks brand new.
Hey Charles, thanks. The most important thing you can do is to thoroughly wash the boat and flush out the engine after every use. If you're in fresh water it's not as crucial of course but still important. It takes time, but keeping it clean is paramount to maintaining its looks and value. I also occasionally give it a coat of some spray wax, and it's always covered unless we are using it. It's funny when folks at the boat ramp think its new when its 10 years old with over 350 hours on it. Thanks again, congrats on your boat. I hope you love yours as much as I love mine!
@@CaptainLeonsBoatingandMore I just realized you’re on LI. I’m from Islip originally went to school upstate and live in the city until 2008. Now I’m in the baltimore/ DC area. My primary water access is the Chesapeake so brackish not as salty as the sound or the Bay. Good to know you’re able to keep it that clean in salt water and with a spray wax. I have the mooring cover for in season but do you have any cover recommendations for the winter, I know the shipping covers only last a few seasons
@@charlescottone8939 I have exclusively used the white shipping cover to get me through NY winters, 9 winters now. I actually have two of them in case my primary gives way. Works great!
I have that gas cap on my pontoon. Recently had fuel siphoned by a gas thief. I want to prevent that in the future. Can you install a lock on this cap?

Not that I know of Donna, I don't believe you can put a lock on it.
Where did you purchase it from? Great video!
Thanks, check the video description, I have the link there.
@@CaptainLeonsBoatingandMore thanks! I have a 2016 SX190. Look forward to installing.
