I 've been doing my urban wildlife photography getting around by bicycle a lot more these days, no motor assist like the one you're on though. But yes 2 wheeled transport is fantastic for this isn't it!. There are a lot of urban wilderness places up here in Ontario, much of it inaccessible by car. This lets me combine, hiking, biking, and wildlife photography together - three of my favourite things to do.
Sounds perfect 🙂
Excellent review! I will be buying one. Scotland is such a beautiful place can't wait to get back there.
Thank you 🙂
Cool guy, cool bike, and one off my favorite photographers in wildlife 😃
Greetings from Germany
Heiko
Thank you Heiko 🙂
In case I missed it, what sort of distance are you getting from one charge? I replaced the stock seat post with a Suntour suspension seat, made an amazing difference!
Cool! I find it really difficult to assess how far I get on one charge as I never take it for one long ride and wear the battery down. But I think somewhere between 1/2 - 2/3 of the 80 miles that’s claimed.
@@EspenHelland I've just found (after charging for the first time) that after getting about 5-6 miles into the last bar I've gone 45 miles exactly. That was on flat roads with a bit of off road and mostly on level 5. So we seem to be getting about similar results.
I have had an electric bike for years and they are brilliant. My biggest regret is not getting a foldable one that I could fit in my car. Sadly mine is only suitable for road use.
I have a 26" almost full size Dahon folder that I 'think' will accept 1.9" tyres, and investigating converting to e- bike, but try chatting to Swytch and you get connected to an unintelligent robot, that can't answer basics like rim widths.
I've previously done over 100m per day cycle touring/camping, London to Brighton including home to London then back home from Brighton, but I'm getting on a bit now and my wife can beat me using her e-bike.
Time to change.
@@David_Bell_growing I bought a Freego Wren around 9 years ago and it is great for roads, though I put thicker puncture proof tyres on as it is so difficult to fix a puncture when you have wires to consider as well. At the time they also did a foldable but it was out of stock and like a child I didn't want to wait, which I regret deeply now. I have a small foldable standard bike for my car, but only use it on the flat as the hills round here are real killers.
I will be getting on my Superbike later in my case the Cube 600 watt Electric 10 speed bicycle. I don't know how I pedaled without it, old age I suppose. I ran out of power the other day nearly died returning up hill to my house ! Awesome bike Espen a highland explorer model 😍
😅 i can imagine it’s tough to cycle far without the motor!
@@EspenHelland Well I did the London to Brighton Bicycle run when I was 30 no electric then, but I only managed 13 miles in the London Marathon now that is hard work 😀
Will you be offering photography workshops that cater for cyclist photographers?
That could be fun! I’ve just said yes to taking out some people on an overnight camp and photography. Get in touch if you fancy a biking one 🙂
Great idea. 👍📸
If course an ebike is fun for wildlife. This channel has become just an advertisement channel for expensive stuff
I wonder if the speed can be deristicted for off road use only in the UK. I'm thinking one of the wires on the control unit in the lower bike frame might control this. I think the bike is capable of 28 - 35mph depending on rider weight.
It will void the warranty of course.
I haven't tried it on mine yet but will be in a few weeks.
Yeah I heard that you an override it somehow. Let me know how it goes!
Hey! Possible to 'hack' the computer to increase the speed to 28mph?
I think so
I do love ya, Espen, but I feel your videos are just becoming ads. Can’t you go back to making videos just shooting wildlife out and about?
There is an astonishing number of RUclipsrs flogging this bike for Himiway. Beware, consumers!
Nice advertisement.
Be nice but to get anywhere I’d need to use the roads and where I live it’s **king dangerous, narrow A roads and lots of artics
